Prior design has released its 1 Series PDM1 Widebody Kit, a full bodykit which gives a standard 1-series the look of the BMW 1M coupe.

BMW Car Magazine undertakes a fraternal twins rivalry comparison in pitting HP Autowerks’ BMW 1M coupe against its tuned 135i coupe.
The tuned 135i coupe is equipped with DCT transmission and tuned to be 400+ HP / 420 lb-ft torque with piggyback tune, intake tubing, M3 suspension arms/bushings, coilovers, and exhaust system.

BMW’s new 2.0L 4 cylinder turbo engine (the “N20″) may be down on cylinders and displacement compared to the inline 6 cylinder (N52) that it replaces across BMW’s model range, but even in factory form, it matches the outgoing N52′s horsepowers and features an extra 30 lb-ft of torque (in the X1 xDrive28i, X3 xDrive28i, F20 128i, 528i, Z4 sDrive28i, and upcoming F30 328i).

Here’s one of the first reviews of the BMW 335i Performance Edition Retrofit Kit, which is a factory tune which retains the factory warranty. Horsepower increase from 300 to 320, torque increase from 300 to 317ft-lbs for a manual transmission, and to 332 for automatic transmission. This all results in 0.2 seconds faster acceleration time than the standard factory model from 80 to 100 km/h and 0.5 seconds faster acceleration time than the standard factory model from 80 to 120km/h. In case you missed it, the BMW Performance Parts Manager recent revealed that the BMW Performance Power Kit will soon be coming in two stages, for both the N54 and N55 motors. Stage 1 PPK will be software upgrade only and Stage 2 PPK will be software and hardware upgrades.
