The BMW 1 Series M Coupe came in only 3 colors, but many felt that it should have come in a 4th color – a shade of blue.
This is how the 1M would have looked if that had happened.
PistonHeads evaluates the BMW 1M coupe four years after its introduction. Verdict? They believe the 1M has attained hero status. Read on inside…
The trailer film for The Gambler, featuring Mark Wahlberg, previews the first hollywood cameo for the BMW 1M coupe. The Valencia Orange 1M appears in several parts throughout the trailer, so it will hopefully receive plenty of screen time in the full length film.

BIMMERPOST moderator Dackelone tours the Italian Alps:
Well… for the last few years, every summer – some of us Euro 1Addicts have met for an awesome driving tour experience. One that we will never forget! The last two years – we have met and driven the infamous Stelvio Pass. You can see our past Stelvio 1.0 and Stelvio 2.0 tours under my signature. But for this year, we all wanted to try something different. Enter Sella 1.0
First off, I want to say I could … CONTINUED
Photos and coverage of the M Car Day at Griot’s Garage – BMWCCA Puget Sound Chapter by Sir Loin:
Today was BMWCCA Puget Sound Chapter’s M Car Day at Griot’s Garage. Every year some friends of mine (Team Orga) organize a BMW 1er and 3er car show. In past years we always held the show(s) at the BMW Welt. But last year we simply outgrew that parking lot. So this year’s show was held at a much larger parking lot. Metro is kind of the German version of Price Club.
We even had some crazy BMW lovers(nuts) come all the way from Moscow, Russia! Some 5K kms one way! Now that’s some RESPECT! … CONTINUED

Great review of a BMW 1M Coupe against a 997 GT3 RS 3.8 and GT3 RS 4.0.
Asymmetric warfare: A couple months back I had the privilege of testing three incredible machines: a 997 GT3 RS 3.8, an RS 4.0, and an RS 3.8 with the engine bored and stroked to 4.1 liters. My 1M came along for the ride as the camera car for a few days of amazing driving. While it’s unquestionably unfair to compare BMW’s cheapest M car to an RS 4.0, … CONTINUED
For the past two years some Euro 1Addicts have gone on a pilgrimage to Stelvio. Stelvio 1.0 and Stelvio 2.0 (you can click on my signature for those photo threads)
Some in our group have become a little bored with Stelvio plan so this year we want to tour another breath taking mountain range. But where? So Artemis(Luc) and I had last weekend free so we made a little “research” tour of the Italian Dolomites Alps region. This is the area of mountains bellow the … CONTINUED
The BMW 1M coupe remains as desirable as ever, and perhaps even more so, as its current market value is even higher than the retail price when sold.
Of twenty 1M coupes currently on sale, by way of major used auto sales websites, they were listed at an average asking price of $61,670 with an average mileage of about 11,600 on the clock. That’s more than $15,500 over the MSRP when new!
