East Coasters keep your eyes peeled on I-95 today! A 1M coupe has taken to I-95 (southbound) for long-distance highway test and break-in. This is the first that a fully undisguised 1M coupe has been seen and photographed in public.
Only 20 days after its world debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the new BMW 1 Series M Coupe will appear at the Daytona International Speedway as official pace car alongside the legendary BMW M3 for the 49thRolex 24 at Daytona, January 28th-30th. Here is a new video featuring Dr. Kay Segler, BMW M Brand Manager, giving a quick walk through of the 1M that was featured at the Detroit Autoshow. There is nothing new or spectacular fact wise in this video, but I still like it, because the video captures some of the car’s angles very well. And lets face it, I can’t see enough of the 1M in Vallencia Orange.
The video itself is a good 5:35 long and Dr. Segler makes a point to mention that this … CONTINUED
The last color (Black Sapphire Metallic) of the 1M color trifecta is finally seen here, from the pages of Playboy. This time we do admit that we read Playboy for the images. But what I found most interesting is Autoblog reporting that Dr. Segler definitively confirmed the BMW 1M is not limited in overall production numbers. He did qualify the statement by saying, “But they will be hard to get.”
There you … CONTINUED
Here are the best photos yet of the Alpine White 1M Coupe, courtesy of forum member Rob Shaw from the Brussels Motor Show. These high quality hi-res photos show as much details as we have seen of the white 1M coupe. Rob, an M3 owner remarked how the seats are very comfortable and sporty – like M3 seats.
Here it is, the muscles in brussels. The Alpine White 1M has been photgraphed here by the boys over on Autoblog.nl. In all honesty, the Alpine White is really growing on me. Generally, I think photos never portray Alpine White quite the way it looks in person, but in this case, the photos came out nice and I have to say, I’m becoming a fan on AW 1Ms. Hopefully someone can get out there and get some video as well? If you follow the source link, … CONTINUED
