I have a Z4 23i & a X5 30xdrive. I have driven 135 convertible before.
The first impression was not so impressive because the real shape of the car was masked by the camouflage. But I noticed the back of the car was so wide. The sound of starting the engine was wonderful. The clutch is not extremely hard. The gear shift distance is short & precise. Easy to handle (this is my 1st time driving a left-hand drive MT car).
After we went onto the highway, it was raining heavily. I already noticed the steering was very sensitive. The dampers were so good & no jumping at all. … CONTINUED

Another Review , And again they love it… Heres what they say: When you see the BMW 1-series M Coupé in the metal, it’s hard not to be impressed. Even with the taped disguise of this pre-production prototype, it is clear that this is more than just a warmed-over version of BMW’s price-leading two-door.

BMW 1M Coupe first ride reports keep flowing in, this time from Autocar UK, which calls this a truly exciting car which feels every bit as agile as the standard M3 (at least from the passenger’s seat). Autocar reports that the 1M will be approximately 350bhp, with 6 speed manual and 7 speed DCT options, and will be lighter than the 135i.
