The BMW M235i has received a most impressive 98/100 score from Consumer Reports, the highest ever for a BMW model and beating the costlier Porsche 911 and Chevrolet Corvette in road-test reviews.
According to the report, the M235i, which earned 98 out of a possible 100 points, scored better that the discontinued BMW 135i, making it the Munich-based carmaker’s highest-rated vehicle of all time, according to Consumer Reports. That puts BMW close to the score of 99 Tesla Motors Inc. (TSLA) received from the magazine … CONTINUED
There was to be no happy ending for the BMW Sports Trophy teams at this year’s Nurburgring 24 Hours (DE). Despite strong performances and leading at times, the podium eluded BMW as the endurance classic was held for the 42nd time in front of a total of 205,000 spectators. BMW Sports Trophy Team Schubert, with the number 20 BMW Z4 GT3, was embroiled in a fascinating three-way battle at the head of the field with an Audi and a Mercedes until two hours from … CONTINUED
Autocar looks at the M325i coupe vs the A45 AMG and answers the question – Which is the Better Driver’s Car?
Every year some friends of mine (Team Orga) organize a BMW 1er and 3er car show. In past years we always held the show(s) at the BMW Welt. But last year we simply outgrew that parking lot. So this year’s show was held at a much larger parking lot. Metro is kind of the German version of Price Club.
We even had some crazy BMW lovers(nuts) come all the way from Moscow, Russia! Some 5K kms one way! Now that’s some RESPECT! … CONTINUED

Among those in action at the wheel of the works-assisted car will be two motorsport journalists Marcus Schurig (DE) and Jethro Bovingdon (GB). They will be supported over the course of the marathon venture … CONTINUED
With BMW continuing to take a more extroverted approach to the F chassis styling, tuners must exercise caution when designing new components. 3D Design is no stranger to this approach as it is ingrained within their company philosophy. Via a thorough approach to design 3D focuses on all lines to ensure the end result is cohesive with the factory panels. Founded in 1998, the Japanese tuner has a rich history with aero and suspension that stems back to the E36 chassis. The goal of … CONTINUED

Oh, well, I could call myself an enthusiast on paper, which is where I live, breathe and dream cars, but have never had the money, or the good fortune of ever driving the true Ms and the Porsches, or even an … CONTINUED
