i just got home. i am dead tired from being in hawaii all last week. i got back on fri night and got ready for the slo meet the following day. here some pics for you guys. i know there were more photographer. post them up guys.

it was hard taking the group shot with no one in the pics. there were too many people hangin around. this was the best one with 2 moron in the pic. one seem to be picking his ass. thanks jon.

Our very own moderator izzodesh took a ride down to Grand Central Station in NYC to see the BMW Art car and new Z4 on display ahead of the New York Autoshow. He has taken some amazing photos

As many of you may know, the owner’s manual for the new F01 7 Series BMW is on the iDrive and no paperback manual is provided. This seems like a very novel use of technology, although if your car battery dies you may have wished you had the booklet :)

Here is the spec sheet for the M6 Competition Package for Canada. Only 10 are coming to Canada and none to the US.

The Competition Package is just a package that you can order but this is a fully loaded M6

Hamann announced that they now have a body kit to go with their tuning programme for the 2009 BMW 7 Series. Details are being kept under wraps for the moment except to say those tyres are running on 22-inch rims. Visually, components like a rear boot spoiler, a rear roof spoiler, four tailpipes and new side skirts can be spotted. The interior shows sporty pedals, and black leather seats and carpets stitched with the Hamann logo.

The previous-generation Hamann 7 (HM 7.1) was announced in 2005 and was based on the 760i/L. Hamman increased the factory V12 engine capacity from 6.0-litres to 7.1-litres and managed to release 510hp (375kW) and 728Nm of torque. The 0 - 100km/h time improved to 5 seconds while top speed went up … CONTINUED

Heinz Krusche is BMW’s chassis guru. I’ve met him several times, and always enjoyed top insight from him (not least his tales of how he keeps DSC turned on for the road – but ‘always’ turns it off when on track…).
