The first teaser image of the upcoming BMW M1 has surfaced on 1addicts! The small image shows a beefy front bumper sculpted in latest M-style, with huge air inlets for engine and brake cooling. According to insiders, the M1 will be unveiled in a unique matte finish, after being tested with many different matte finishes (sepang bronze, white, etc.). Colors options will be plentiful, ranging from the current M colors to updates of past M colors, and even an Inka Orange color (from the 2002).
Some more 2011 M3 Competition Package (ZCP) information has come to light. Though the ZCP package will include special ZCP competition wheels, the tires will be regular 19″ M3 wheels. Also coming to light is good news for fans of matte color finish: there will likely be multiple matte colors options for the ZCP M3.

BMW continues testing the X3 but doesn’t yet want to pull of anymore camo so once again we see the black and white psychadelic camo and not much else. Like the X1, the proportions look good and this should end up as a very nice upgrade to the current X3 when the car is finally released.

This car will be arriving in the USA soon enough and I have a feeling there will be quite a few people queing up to buy this car.
Just to recap. 4.4l twin-turbo V8 producing 500HP. More information on the Alpina B7 can be found here.

The actual number of cars which will be available is unknown. But if history is any guide it wont exactly be easy to get your hands on the car. Looking at the MINI-e program, there are currently 450 of the cars on the roads out of an applicant pool of over 1800.
