It wears the VED (Vision Efficientdynamics Concept), so could it be a VED production version? Judging by the tall skinny wheels our guess is a hybrid/electric/alternative fuel vehicle of some sort.

The newest and largest MINI model - the Countryman is set to launch in the UK market on Sep. 18, 2010. The Countryman will be the first MINI to have 4-doors, seat 5 adults and offer four wheel drive (AWD). The MINI Countryman will be available in seven models, two of which will offer ALL4, MINI’s new four wheel drive option. Countryman offers more space, more practicality and more versatility than any MINI before and it will also spearhead MINI’s return to the World Rally Championship in 2011.

BMW has announced the end of production for the E63 M6 coupe and convertibles. 14,152 M6 coupes were built in total, which began production in 2005 and 5,065 convertibles were built from 2006 on. The next generation F12/F13 M6 will continue to share the engine and drivetrain with the F10 M5, and is expected to make its world public debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

The M3 Tiger Edition was officially unveiled to the Chinese market last week in a Beijing reveal show. The Tiger Edition also marks BMW M3’s 25 anniversary in Beijing and an ancestral gallery is on display in China stretching from the legendary BMW M1 to the 24h Nordschleife winner, the BMW M3 GT2, presented by BMW works driver, Jörg Müller. Even chairman of the BMW M GmbH managing board, Dr. Kay Segler, wore a BMW M leather jacket in a classic racing design, to demonstrate his affinity with tradition.
