Here’s a first video of the BMW 328 Hommage, at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, on the grounds of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este on Lake Como, where 50 historic and iconic cars built between the twenties and seventies are displayed in a celebration of automotive past. No engine rev unfortunately, but it does have a nice burble.

G-POWER has released its M3 GTS with SK II “Sporty Drive” supercharger system, billed as the world’s most powerful BMW M3 GTS to date. A version of the G-POWER M3 “Sporty Drive” supercharger system, adapted specifically for the BMW M3 GTS raises the standard output from 450 hp to 635 hp and 630 Nm of torque. The high-revving V8 power unit from M GmbH, with a 10% greater displacement of 4.4 l, has proven itself as the ideal starting point for the forced induction technology practiced by G-POWER with ASA superchargers. Prior Design is no newcomer when it comes to widebody M3 conversions, as they released their E92 M3 PDM Widebody Kit for the E92 coupe (photos also below) late last year. This time around they’ve taken to converting the E93 convertible to a widebody M3 look, just in time for the top-down summer months. The conversion looks fabulous, especially with the convertible top down.

The conversion kit includes of course the widened front and rear fenders and bumpers, new hood with ventilation gills, and sideskirts.

The next generation M3 is still at least 3 years from its debut, but it’s never too early for speculation, particularly about its powerplant. While the current E9x M3 is powered by the marvelous high-revving V8 engine (S65), it’s been widely speculated that that the next generation M3 will return to using a 6-cylinder engine. Emissions regulations have forced the move, much like the new upcoming F10 M5 getting the more efficient S63 V8 Twin-turbo engine instead of continuing to use the iconic V10.

So far so good. However, according to our source with close ties to BMW M, BMW has not settled on exactly which engine layout the company will use for the F30/F32 M3. Rather, the guys at BMW M are currently testing no less … CONTINUED
