The new 2012 BMW M5 will be priced at EUR 102,700 in Germany. For comparison, the last price for the E60 M5 (Sep 2010) was EUR 94,700 which means a price increase of roughly 8.5%.
Earlier this week, BMW announced the price for the UK at £73,040 for UK buyers. The last UK price for the E60 M5 was £67,300 which also tranlsates to a price increase of 8.5%.
Applying the same increase of 8.5% to the last US price (2010 M5) of $85,700, the new BMW M5 would be priced at $93,000 for the US.

As previously announced, BMW will be returning to DTM racing - beginning in the 2012 DTM season with a new M3 DTM race car. As part of the DTM event at Munich’s Olympic Stadium on 16th and 17th July 2011, BMW will present a BMW M3 DTM Concept Car for the first time.
Along with the 2012 DTM Concept Car, on display will be the 1987 BMW M3 DTM, the BMW M1 Procar from 1981, and the Mini Rally Monte Carlo car from the 1960s.
BMW has just launched its first 2012 Olympics commercial, promoting the BMW Drive for Team USA, a national drive program that invites consumers to get behind the wheel and the Olympic Movement in support of U.S. Olympic Team and Paralympic Team hopefuls. The event series travels to 276 BMW retailers across America between June 16 and August 13, 2011. For each participant who test drives a vehicle at one of the BMW Drive for Team USA events, BMW of North America will donate $10 to Team USA, up to a maximum donation of $200,000. Funds raised will work to further the training and performance goals of Team USA athletes.
