The German F10 M5 configurator has gone online — at BMW Germany’s website. F10 M5 intent owners and tire kickers can now see the different M5 configurations available (at least for Germany).
The Configurator can be found at http://www.bmw.de/de/de/general/conf…figurator.html
The BMW.com M5 visualizer has also been available since June.
The F10 M5 starts at 102,700 euros in Germany (equivalent of 148,129 USD). For comparison, the last price for the E60 M5 (Sep 2010) was EUR 94,700 which means a price increase of roughly 8.5%. Applying the same increase of 8.5% to the last US price (2010 M5) of $85,700, the new BMW M5 would be priced at $93,000 for the US. (* It’s important to note however that the U.S. market doesn’t just follow other markets and … CONTINUED
The F31 3-series touring/wagon has been spotted in testing again, this time in a new color - liquid blue. Liquid blue recently showed up as new BMW color for the 2012 3-series E92 coupe and 2012 1-series F20 hatchback and this is the first ever look at the new light blue paint color.
No official word yet on whether the F31 touring/wagon will be available in North America, but in a recent interview with Automotive News, the now retired BMWNA CEO Jim O’Donnell says he wishes the company hadn’t stopped selling the F11 5 series wagon in the United States last year because the company thought a lot its 5-series station wagon customers would go with the GT. The report went on to say that the next … CONTINUED

Just spotted performing testing on the Nurburgring is the upcoming special X6 M model, which will come in with an even higher power output than the standard X6 M’s 555hp.
The power increase is expected to be subtle and will remain under the 600hp mark. There will also be changes to the car’s weight and significant changes to the overall feel of the driving experience.
As before, it features a large hood air scoop and air extractor outlets flanking the scoop. No details yet on what exact powerplant or modifications have been applied to the X6 M’s motor, but whatever powerplant variant may be under the hood certaintly seems like it needs to move a lot of O2. The other cosmetic enhancement spotted is the addition of more … CONTINUED
