Here we have the first official BMW video of the z4 sDrive28i with its Twinpower Turbo 2.0L inline 4-cylinder N20 motor. While the exterior of the car remains the same, it’s the sounds that makes the video interesting.

This is the first good official clip of the Z4 N20 engine and exhaust. Keep in mind that this won’t necessarily be how the N20 will sound on the upcoming F10 528i and F30 328i, as each BMW’s sound is tuned differently.

The new M5 had recently made its way onto the track at Laguna Seca and BMW was kind enough to shoot some video while there. The bone chilling engine and exhaust note are more then enough to remind us that this car is the real deal and belongs at home on the track just as well as it does on the road.

The F10 M5 is of course BMW’s fifth generation of the M5 and newest M car to make it to market. The M5 packs 560HP and 501 ft-lbs of torque, all the information and videos can be seen in the official BIMMERPOST thread for the M5.

Autoblog comes in with their first drive reaction to the 2012 Z4 sDrive28i, the first late model BMW to bring the 4-cylinder motor back to the US market. The N20 motor makes 240 hp / 260 lb-ft tq in the Z4, with a 7,000 rpm redline. Compared to the N52 inline 6 that it replaces, the Z4’s N20 has 15 less horsepowers but 40lb-ft more torque.

The N20 will also be making its debut in the 5-series line in the Fall with the 2012 528i, and in the 3-series with the all new F30 3-series sedan which will be unveiled this Fall.

The current generation Lexus GS 350 has been long in the tooth for quite a while now, but Lexus has just debuted the all new 2013 GS350, a car that’s aimed squarely at the likes of the BMW 5-series, Mercedes E-Class, and Audi A6. What does the new GS 350 bring to the table this time around?

It features an all new chassis with more spacious interior, and is powered by a 3.5L V6 306hp/277lb-ft torque motor. Transmission is RWD and takes the form of a six speed sequential shift auto or optional AWD. The styling has been given a pretty radical overhaul and adopts Lexus’ current styling language recently seen on the CT 200h compact hybrid and LF-A.

The GS 350 and F10 are fairly close in … CONTINUED
