What a weekend! First spyshots of the new M3, then had the first leak of the Performance Concept 1-series and now this:
An eagle eyed tipster managed to take the first (albeit blurry) shots of the new BMW 3-series sedan (F30). From what can be seen in those photos it will be a very handsome and evolutionary design. The front appears sporty yet elegant and — to the relief of many — the headlights are sleeker and smaller compared to the F20 1-series. The rear clearly shows a family resemblance to the F10 5-series, yet the rearlights are somewhat different at the outer edges to make for a unique look.

Some days ago, we brought you spyshots of a special F20 1-series. With some help from our resident insider Scott26 we could identify that car as a BMW Performance 1-series.
Today, we’re happy to share the first photos of the final car, the “BMW Performance Studie 1-series”. BMW apparently showed this car during their dealer presentation taking place in Frankfurt, and three shots magically made it to our inbox. You can see the Performance front and rear bumpers which appear to be even more aggressively styled than the F20 M-Sport front bumper. Also present are the ‘love em or hate em’ performance stripes and a new Performance wheel in what looks like 19″ size. We wouldn’t be suprised if this car also had some kind of factory … CONTINUED
Exciting moment folks! We bring you the very first spyshots of the next generation F30 M3 / F32 M3. These photos show an F30 3-series sedan with several trademark M3 features such as quad-exhaust, flared fenders and drilled brake discs.
Scott26 claims that these photos are no indication of an M3 sedan making it to production. Rather, BMW had only an F30 prototype to use for testing the M3 parts and components. Don’t count the F30 M3 sedan out yet however, as it’s been alluded to that it may still be in the plans — despite the rather slow sales of the E90 M3 sedan.
