BMW chose the 6 series to showcase what owners can achieve via the BMW Individual customization program. On display were two stunning 6-series - a white coupe and a black convertible.
The 6 series coupe was painted in Brilliant White Metallic with a mouth dropping Amaro Brown | Black leather interior. The other Individual options spec’d on this car were:
BMW Individual fine wood trim - Sycamore, red brown, dark

The BMW i8 concept and i3 concept vehicles join the long list of BMWs making their public debuts at the Frankfurt IAA. The i8 electric hybrid sports car will launch in 2014 and the i3 electric vehicle launches earlier, in 2013.
P.S., if you look closely, you’ll see that this particular i8 concept vehicle has some early form of the recently announced laser headlight technology.
The 2012 BMW 6 series M Sport package has debuted at the Frankfurt IAA. The M Sport package adds some aggressiveness to the normally (perhaps overly, in our opinion) svelte 6 series with a much beefier front bumper with large air inlets and integrated splitters. The profile of the 6 series gets M sport sideskirts, which resemble the M3 sideskirts and gloss black trim. And the rear receives some aggressive treatment as well with the M sport bumper with contrasting colored diffuser.
To us, the centerpieces of the M sport equipped interior are the beautiful alcantara/leather sports seats - alcantara back and seat and leather headrest and side and leg bolsters, finished off with blue contrast stitching and a small M colored piping. Par for the course, … CONTINUED
The 2011 Frankfurt IAA represents the world public debut of the new 1 series hatchback and BMW wasted no space in highlighting the F20 1 series. The new 1 series had its very own feature section, which displayed F20s in nearly all available exterior colors, in standard model, and urban line and sport line models. There was also an M Sport package equipped model.
The exterior colors on display were Alpine White, Crimson Red, Black Sapphire Metallic, Mineral Gray, Glacier Silver, Midnight Blue, and Valencia Orange.
While still a bit of an avant garde design, the F20 was indeed better looking in person, due to the more visible front fascia sculpting. When seeing the F20 in person, the lines and contours which transition the inner headlight into the … CONTINUED
The 2011 Frankfurt IAA represents the F10 M5’s general public reveal and BMW has strutted out not just the typical Monte Carlo Blue launch color, but also in Moonstone (Individual color), and Alpine White. It felt like ///M heaven walking into the M area.
There was also a Monte Carlo Blue M5 being used to drive around the BMW track in the exhibit hall, as well as the F10 M5 Safety Car.
The Alpine White M5 was paired with a gorgeous Sakhir Orange interior with black piano trim, and optional enhanced seats. Each M5 featured blue brakes, which are standard
Also, to solve any confusion regarding the F10 M5’s steering, we confirmed that it is hydraulic steering.
