BMW drivers are the first in the world to benefit from an advanced traffic information system giving fast, accurate and reliable data about road conditions on their journeys. Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI) is an enhanced BMW ConnectedDrive feature designed to increase the comfort and peace of mind of BMW owners.
The system is available on all new BMW models and comes at no additional cost when customers order the BMW Professional navigation system and Bluetooth telephone preparation with telematics. As a further benefit, BMW drivers can also view RTTI remotely when planning their routes within their BMW Routes website. This portal can be accessed by any internet-enabled device.

Akrapovic has been gaining quite a reputation in BMW circles by becoming BMW’s exhaust partner for the BMW 1M coupe safety car and the BMW F10 M5 safety car. And now Alpina, the legendary BMW tuning outfit, has also turned to Akrapovic for its latest creation - the Alpina B6. It looks like a relationship which should continue for future Alpina models.
The Alpina B6 Akrapovic titanium exhaust system is 23kg lighter than the factory steel exhaust. This represents a 45% weight reduction.
The F30 3 series will be fully revealed to the world this Friday, but its dashboard has now been revealed in these spy photos. Although these are not great quality photos, what’s seen here does appear to match up to the F30 interior spy photos we’ve previously posted.
As expected, the F30’s dashboard is a bit of a mix between the F10 5 series and F21 1 series, with the large fixed screen that we’ve seen in previous spy photos.
The dashboard trim appears to be quite a bit taller, but shorter than the E90/E92’s trim and is an attractive black wood grain in this particular model.
Exciting week ahead. BMW just officially confirmed that the new BMW 3 series sedan (F30) will be unveiled in Munich this Friday, Oct 14.

We received some great feedback and response on our F80 M3 renders, including several requests for a red version, as long as one with a hood powerdome. We’ve updated our set of renders with some new Melbourne Red photos that should make red M3 fans happy.
A shiny (understatement) new M3 showcar is currently on display at the BMW Welt. Displayed with the label “BMW M3 Coupe Chrome Bullet,” this E92 M3 is finished in a chrome exterior with BMW Motorsports stripes.
No information is provided on whether this is merely a one-off M3 for fun and attraction, or if there’s any production plans.

Despite all the different colors of F10 M5 prototypes we spied, this is the first look ever at the 2012 M5 in Singapore Grey.
