We bring you the best live video look yet at the BMW F32 4-series/3-series in motion. The video shows the F32 from various angles settings around several locations throughout Munich.

Despite the heavy camouflage you can see a very sleek and sporty design. As usual for BMW coupes, there are frameless windows and a B-pillar for structural rigidity.

We expect the F32 to get the same engines as the F30 3 series sedan - the N20 4-cylinder turbo engine in the 28i and the N55 6-cylinder turbo in the 35i. As the F32 is supposed to take on a more upmarket image than the F30, perhaps BMW will offer a higher output for the 35i. Just speculation for now however.

Another uncertainty at this point is the … CONTINUED

Car and Driver pits the BMW E93 M3 coupe against what it calls the M3’s ultimate foe, the Mercedes C63 AMG coupe. Comparing the M3 to the pasty software engineer, Ken Jennings, who kept winning on Jeopardy, and whose success annoys some people by administering beat-downs on some of the world’s best cars, C/D drove from their editorial HQ in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to Virginia International Raceway (VIR) to find out if  the C63 AMG coupe is the M3’s real-estate agent from Ventura.

Car and Driver reviews the 2012 650i coupe and comes away impressed with its dual ability to serve up brawn and beauty, or “the drag and Las Vegas strips” as they call it.

The power 400hp 4.4L V8 of the 650i (which it shares with the 550i) paired with an 8 speed automatic transmission was able to give Car and Driver drivers an impressive 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds and the quarter mile in just 12.9 seconds @ 112mph!

Check out more feedback inside.

Power, motion, and light inspired American artist Jeff Koons as he worked on the legendary BMW M3 GT2. Bearing his unmistakable style, the entire body of the artwork is adorned with vivid, streamlined colors against a black background, giving the viewer an impression of motion and speed from every angle. But the BMW M3 GT2 Art Car Jeff Koons doesn’t just dazzle on the racetrack, it also exudes dynamism at a scale of 1:18 in its limited-edition miniature version. The metal model is a full-detail reproduction of the original vehicle, for which the artist intentionally selected a contrasting silver interior. The removable hood allows you to see the engine inside, the trunk can also be opened, and the air ducts are easily visible. The cockpit and … CONTINUED

Here it is, the first of many F30 3-series vs. competitor shootouts we’re sure to see in the coming months. As the reigning king of sports sedans, the 3-series has a reputation to uphold and automotive publications will be most interested in seeing if the new 3 series sedan can fend off its competitors.

If this first comparison review is any indication, the answer will be an emphatic YES. The F30 trounces the Mercedes Benz C Class in this first shootout comparison. Autocar was not shy in its effusive praise of the F30, saying that it is the remarkable, standout car in its field, and by several lengths over the C-class.
