However, this year’s show saw BMW attend for the first time ever. BMW trotted out its latest Performance Parts lineup and accessories. On hand were the M Performance Parts M3 and X6M, as well as Performance Parts F20 1-series, E93 3-series, and X5.
Autospies shares their very comprehensive and excellent video review of the F30 328i, powered by the N20 4 cylinder 2.0L turbo engine. In their experience, they feel that the 3 series once again delivers a knockout punch to its competitors from Audi, MB, and Lexus.

Here is what we know to be the world’s first Monte Carlo Blue 1M coupe. No, it didn’t come from the factory this way (although we know many a 1M enthusiast who wishes there was a blue color option in addition to black, white, and valencia orange) as no Individual options were available on the 1Ms.

The 2012 BMW M5 (F10) has officially launched in UK dealers today! On display at the Harold Wood dealership are gorgeous F10 M5s in Monte Carlo Blue and Singapore Grey. Check out some launch photos inside.
Time flies. Only 2 years after its introduction, BMW is apparently already preparing a facelift (AKA “LCI”) for the popular X1 SAV. As these images show, BMW sticks to their usual facelift approach.
The front bumpers will be reworked significantly for a more sporty and wider appearance, similar to the existing M Sport package. The rear bumpers will follow the same lead with a more ‘diffusor style’ appearance. Head and rear lights will get new graphics (updated rear lights not yet shown in these images).
It’s hard to tell for sure from these images but we wouldn’t be surprised if the X1 LCI also got its side indicators moved to the rear view mirrors. The camo tape over the redesigned mirrors and the side indicators at the front … CONTINUED
It’s teaser time again! Hot off the press here’s part 1 of “a new chapter: powered by BMW M”.
When you listen to the engine carefully you can hear it’s a diesel engine. At this point we can only speculate what this is about exactly, but if we were forced to do so we’d say it’s a promotion for the long-rumored M Performance Diesel models called X6 M50d ( and M550d for the F10) powered by a 3.0l inline 6 Diesel engine with no less than 3 turbochargers.
If rumors coming from a dealer presentation in the Netherlands prove true, this engine will make 381 hp and over 516 lb-ft torque. Complimenting the power plant is a dedicated M Sport Package and some other goodies. In other words, … CONTINUED
Tire Rack asks whether third generation runflat tires have improved upon the previous generation, and just how much it has. Have the traditional tradeoffs present in runflat tires finally been eliminated?
They tested the third generation Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position RFT 3G runflat tires on an E92 328i and indeed come to the welcomed conclusion that these are run-flat tires that don’t have the traditional trade-off in ride comfort, while also providing great handling and civilized ride.
