A BIMMERPOST / 5POST member was able to sneak a peek at his almost-delivered F10 M5 yesterday. His car was at the dealer pending homologation into Singapore due to it being among the first batch of production F10 M5s. This is the very first frozen gray F10 M5 we have seen, and it will no doubt look even better under proper lighting and picture quality. Writeup and proper photo shoot to come next week, so stay tuned!
Per Scott26: Because of the controversy that will launch with this car [the F32 coupe]. The prototypes have underneath the camouflage, vacumned plastic sheets and foam moulds that hide the overall details, it makes the car look fatter and chunkier when underneath it combines the sportier profile of the E92 with the elegance of the 6er.
The good news is that underneath the disguise lies a very good looking car ,which really enhances the stylish and individual looks of the E92 with modern BMW design language and features but still keeping that individual look which distinguishes it from the 3er Sedan to be classified as the new BMW 4er Coupe And Cabrio.
The sleeker more dynamic roofline will also provide the basis for a very sexy looking four … CONTINUED
BMW will return to the DTM race series beginning this year with six DTM M3 race cars. We’ve already seen the DTM M3s, and now we get a peek at the BMW M3 DTM Safety Car for the first time, albeit in not yet final form.
The M3 DTM Safety Car’s exterior shows a new hood design with extra venting and host of BMW M Performance parts - carbon fiber splitters, black grilles, carbon fiber mirror covers, carbon fiber trunk spoiler lip, and black competition wheels.
The interior gets a full roll cage, Recaro race seats, flat bottom alcantara Performance steering wheel with blue tab
The engine looks to be from the M3 GTS, which is a 450hp 4.4L V8 and the shifter reveals that this car has a … CONTINUED
Here is a new sighting of the F32 4 series / 3-series coupe. Compared to the F30 3 series sedan, the 4 series coupe will have a more muscular and sleek appearance. The shoulder line at the rear quarter panel is more pronounced and the roofline lower.
Keep in mind that the car looks larger than it actually is due to some of the camouflage paneling, particularly on the front fascia. The heavy camouflage on the front and rear also obscure the headlight and tail light shapes, so no, the lights will not be those round shapes
Expect 4- and 6-cylinder turbocharged petrol engines powering the 428i (or 328i) and the 435i (or 335i) and similar design lines as for the F30 3 series.
The … CONTINUED

We’re not sure why we’re compelled to report the first crashes for each new BMW model, but perhaps it’s to serve as a warning to all our members to always drive with caution, and/or maybe its just a bit of a rubber-necker syndrome.
The first reported F10 M5 crash has unfortunately just occurred today. This M5 is on its way to the BMW dealer at The Hague (BMW Den Haag) for assessment and repairs.
Upon first glance, it appears that only the front end and bumper were damaged, but upon further inspection it seems that there’s also a gash. Hopefully these are mostly cosmetic damages and the car will be back on the road soon. bmw m5 crash accident.
We bring you the very first photos of the F21 135i. We’ve previously spied a 135i 5-door hatchback (F20), but never the 135i 3-door hatchback (F21) as seen here. In fact, F21 sightings in general have been rare.
The F21 is set to be revealed as early as Spring 2012. Expect to see more powerful engines (compared to the F20 1 series 5-door) introduced with the F21. To name a few, we expect a 125i 2.0l turbo inline 4 producing in the ballpark of 220hp and a 125d to complement the 116i, the 118i and the 120d.
M135i ?
As we reported recently, we would not be surprised if BMW went with a “M135i” moniker for this car to form part of the first group of M Performance Automobiles … CONTINUED
The next generation BMW X5 (F15) has begun its public testing! We bring you the first photos of it undergoing winter testing in Northern Sweden. These photos show the F15’s new grille design for the first time - which are clearly larger, wider, and bolder than the current X5’s.
Preliminary info indicates that the hood sits flush with the larger/wider grilles. The headlights are supposed to be trapezoidal shaped and will connect to the headlights, like the F30 3 series. The F15 will also adopt many of the new X model design cues from the X3 and X1.
The F15 X5 is expected to weigh less than the current E70 X5 and ride on a modified version of the F10 5 series chassis. Expect both diesel and gasoline … CONTINUED
