The BMW Group has opened the world’s largest showroom for BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and BMW motorcycles in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi Motors, the BMW Group’s long-standing importer for the region, has invested around AED 300 million (approx. 62 million euros) in the new 35,000-square-metre showroom over its three-year construction.
The new showroom was formally inaugurated by Ian Robertson, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, responsible for Sales and Marketing, His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Vice-Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Abu Dhabi Motors, at an exclusive event on Tuesday evening attended by over 1,000 guests. Well respected automotive reviewer Chris Harris drives the F10 M5 and the Nissan GT-R. He admits that the two are not really rival cars, but what’s important is that the two are both great cars he enjoyed immensely (just look at his reaction), and in which he appreciated every mile and every minute.

The 2013 M6 coupe and convertible were revealed this past weekend and we now preview the production M6 Gran Coupe for you, by way of these renders which digitally remove the prototype’s camouflage. The car will wear the same front and rear end design as the M6 Coupe, but obviously with 2-extra doors and a longer body. We’ve also included the sporty carbon fiber roof from the M6 coupe.
The M6 Gran Coupe will directly challenge the 2012 Mercedes Benz CLS63 AMG. What will the M6 GC bring to the shootout? Expect it to utilize the best BMW has to offer in terms of quality of materials and the best powertrain BMW is capable of developing currently. The M6 coupe and cabrio are powered by the … CONTINUED
It’s often difficult to perceive the size and scale of a new BMW vehicle in spy photos/videos without any other model by its side. To tell the size of the upcoming next generation BMW X5 (F15), we’ve now spied it next to both the current X5 (E70) and the current X3.
Compared to the current X5, the F15 X5 doesn’t appear to be much larger, and any increase in size (at least with respect to height and width) doesn’t seem to be very perceptible at this distance. The overall shape, silhouette, and roofline also don’t appear to be a radical departure.
What we can count on changing is the styling. The F15’s grilles will be larger, wider, and bolder than the current X5’s (as seen in the previous … CONTINUED

The new 2013 BMW coupe (F13) and convertible (F12) have been priced for the German market.
The M6 coupe will start at EUR 123,600 and the convertible at EUR 131,000.
To give other markets an idea of how much the M6 may be priced, the M6 coupe’s German starting price is 20% higher than the F10 M5, which starts at EUR 102,800.
For a little math fun and speculation, how much might the M6 coupe and convertible cost in the US? Any guess would be very speculative since US pricing for the F10 M5 won’t be announced until the NYIAS in April, but we previously made a calculated guess of $93,000 for the US M5 model.
Applying the same 20% increase for the M6 coupe results in $111,600 for … CONTINUED
