Seen in this video is a teaser for the new lineup of M Performance accessories for the F20 1 series (we expect the F30 to follow shortly). We got a first glimpse at this lineup back at Frankfurt. The interesting parts are still blurred in the video, so expect unique M Performance front and rear bumpers, M Performance Brakes comprising of red calipers, slotted and drilled brake discs, carbon rear view mirrors, interior CF trim (feels incredibly good) and other goodies.

From Tuesday to Thursday the BMW drivers completed a total of 969 laps, amounting to almost 4,000 kilometres. Andy Priaulx (GB), Augusto Farfus (BR), Bruno Spengler (CA), Martin Tomczyk (DE), Dirk Werner (DE) and Marco Wittmann (DE) were all in action. Jens Marquardt (BMW Motorsport Director): “Every test is very important for us, particularly in the current phase, as we are fast approaching the homologation deadline. After this point, much of the development work on the car is subject to a freeze. Furthermore, improving the car’s performance is another central issue. We … CONTINUED

There’s a little rush that comes from getting a first peek at a yet-to-be-revealed model’s styling, especially if it’s an M model, and even if it’s just a diagram. These M6 parts diagrams give us a good view at the upcoming 2013 M6 front and rear bumpers. As M6 spyshots suggested, the M6 follows the latest M styling cues with its inverted-mouth front bumper design previously seen on the E9x M3 and F10 M5 models. The lower edge of the outside front bumpers (splitters) appear sportier than that of the new F10 M5. The spoiler lip seen in spy photos will also form part of … CONTINUED

During our US press launch drive of the 2012 3 Series (F30) we took the opportunity to meet with an E90POST member (SharkH8R) who is local to the Monterey area and owner of an E90 325i (on lowered suspension). We had the chance to photograph the F30 and E90 in various angles for a great comparison of the styling and visual differences.

Here is how F30’s physical dimension compares to a factory E90:

0.31 inches (8 mm) taller
3.66 inches (93 mm) longer body
1.96 inches (50 mm) longer wheelbase
1.45 inches (37 mm) wider track [front]
