Here’s a first. Ever wonder how the M3 would look with a 1M style front? Well it’s now been done. LTBMW has fitted this E92 M3 coupe with a front bumper in the style of the 1M coupe, complete with functional air curtain vents!

We first began spying the next generation BMW X5 (F15) in January during its cold climate testing. BMW has now ratcheted up testing of the F15 X5 and moved to the Nurburgring to begin some serious track testing.

The F15 X5 is expected to weigh less than the current E70 X5 and ride on a modified version of the F10 5 series chassis. Expect both diesel and gasoline 6-cylinder and 8-cylinder engine options. It should be introduced in late 2013 - early 2014 as a 2014 model year X5.

BMW had a 40 Years of M display for all to see at the Ringwerk during the 24 Hours Nurburgring race weekend. On display was a gorgeous Moonstone Metallic Individual F10 M5 (with Champagne Merino Individual itnerior) and Citrin Black Individual F12 M6 convertible, along with X5M / X6M, an M3, and an M1.

BMW has just debuted the BMW Zagato Coupe at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy.

BMW may be based in Bavaria, but some of its notable designs flowed from the hands of Italian designers who were responsible for the looks of the BMW 3200 Michelotti Vignale (1959), BMW 700 (1959), BMW 3200 CS Bertone (1962) and BMW M1 (1978).
