After many months of testing and multiple prototype sightings, the debut of the 7 Series LCI facelift refresh is imminent. The reveal should come by the end of this month.
Here is a preview of the 7 Series facelift, based on some recent spy photos. Most of the refresh changes will be to the front fascia. Full LED headlights will come to the 7 series for the first time, with the turn signal lights now integrated into the eyebrow. It will receive a more aggressive lower front fascia, with more pronounced and longer splitter fins on the lower lip, and we think there will be air curtains vents integrated into the bumper, as the spy photos indicate.

The BMW M135i is the first petrol engine model to be presented in the new category BMW M Performance Automobiles. What are the car’s technical highlights?
Christof Lischka: The BMW M135i is the first petrol engine model of the BMW M Performance Automobiles as well as being the first representative of the 1 Series family. For this reason, it was important for us to give the BMW M135i the specific characteristics typical of all BMW M Performance Automobiles - specially matched to the 1 Series of course.

From the summer, BMW xDrive will be available for the first time in conjunction with three petrol engine variants of the new BMW 3 Series Sedan. A fourth model is expected to be available from autumn, the BMW 320d. Furthermore, with the BMW 330d, the first model of the latest generation will be offered with the straight six-cylinder diesel power unit. Another model in preparation is the highly efficient BMW 320i EfficientDynamics Edition.

New optional feature for all BMW 5 Series: individualised cockpit thanks to multifunction instrument display.
An optional feature [from July] that will enhance operation of the automobile in all BMW 5 Series models (except BMW 520d EfficientDynamics Edition and BMW ActiveHybrid 5): the multifunction instrument display. This is a freely programmable cockpit display that introduces a new dimension to driver information. Enhanced Black Panel technology opens completely new possibilities for the display of information. Via the high-grade, homogeneous black surface of the 10.25-inch display, the freely combinable instrument integrates significantly more functions than the conventional instrument panel that it is replacing. From July, the BMW Z4, which converts from a coupé to a roadster in no time at all (even while travelling, at speeds up to 40 km/h) thanks to a retractable hardtop, will offer a new optional feature as a visual refinement of the tasteful kind - the BMW Individual hardtop in contrasting colours.
There is a choice between the BMW Individual hardtop in Black non-metallic for a sportier look or in Titan Silver metallic for more elegance. Whatever the choice, the contrasting roof and body colours underscore the effect of the roadster silhouette even with the roof closed.
