Along with the M3 M Performance Edition models, BMW has also released this video teaser for the new limited BMW M5 M Performance Edition models for the UK. The centerpiece of each M5 M Performance Edition model is the Frozen (matte) paint, which will include Frozen Blue, Frozen Red, and Frozen White. Only ten units of each color will be produced, for a total of just 30 cars.

BMW recently launched the M Performance Parts catalog for the F20 1 series, F30 3 series, and F10 5 series, but has yet to announce its full M Performance catalog for M cars. Last we saw the BMW i8 hybrid sports coupe prototype it was being tested during the dead of winter in Northern Sweden. It’s now Spring and the i8 mule is being tested in the much more pleasant settings of Southern Germany.

The camouflage remains the same as before, but with these clear prototype i8 photos and the recently revealed i8 Spyder Concept, we already have a pretty good idea of the size, proportions, stance, and styling details of the 2014 i8 production car. It will resemble the car seen in the renders posted below.

Here’s a look at Challenge’s F30 335i lowered with H&R Super Sport springs and BBS CH wheels wrapped in Bridgestone RE-11 tires. The car also features black painted kidney grilles and Sport Line whiskers, as well as painted relectors.

The order and pricing guides for the U.S. 2013 M6 Coupe (F13) and 2012 M6 Convertible (F12) are in! They include information on all standard equipment, options, packages, and related pricing.

The 2013 M6 coupe begins production in July, for September delivery. The 2012 M6 convertible began production in March and have already begun deliveries in Europe (it will hit US showroom floors in June).

Including destination and handling, BMW M6 Coupe and BMW M6 Convertible will carry a MSRP of $106,995 and $113,995, respectively.

BMW Welt 3.0, the third annual BMW Welt meet for BMW enthusiasts in Germany was held this past weekend with nearly 150 cars and 200 people attending the event held at BMW HQ in Munich. The event was dominated by the E8x 1 series, although there were also some E9x 3 series in attendance. The meet has grown year after year.

The current Z4 (E89) looks the part, but a prevailing sentiment among auto enthusiasts seems to be that its performance and driving dynamics do not quite live up to its sporty looks.

This may be changing in the next generation Z4 as Insideline is reporting that the third generation Z4 will feature a sportier and more engaging driving experience.

Besides the obvious mechanical changes which will occur, some of the styling is also said to be changing to help achieve this - by shortening the front hood just a bit, while still keeping the proportionately longer front end look. Don’t expect too radical of a change or styling however, as it will still conform with the BMW design group’s late policy of creating more timeless designs which look … CONTINUED
