On July 21, 2012 the M Owners Club of Indonesia (MOCI) had their monthly event in Bandung, attended by 20+ M cars - ranging from 1Ms, M3s, E60 & F10 M5s, and M6. Seen at the event were many updates to members’ cars like a CRT front lip on the frozen gray M3, a couple done up 1Ms, and a 12″ ADV.1 on E90 M3. Looking forward for the next event! The My BMW Remote app is now available for smartphones running the Android operating system, too. The application can be downloaded for free from the Google Play store (Android Market), and offers all the same functionalities as the iPhone version first brought out in autumn 2010.
My BMW Remote allows users to operate all manner of functions in their BMW from outside the vehicle, without even having to be nearby:
“Remote Door Lock & Unlock” allows the car to be locked and unlocked from a smartphone.
“Climate Control” makes it possible to control the interior temperature by adjusting the auxiliary ventilation and heating settings, and programming the systems by timer.

The F34 3 Series GT (Gran Turismo) is just months from its debut and the first F34 chassis has now been spotted.
The 3 Series GT will feature a similar engine lineup to the F30 3 Series and we expect its public debut to possibly come at the 2013 NAIAS in January (if it will be sold in the US) or 2013 Geneva show in March.

Although it’s a powerful beast, it’s clear that a stock F10 M5 is no match for the Ferrari 458 on the track. But, how about a tuned M5 with 640hp? The M5 is tuned by PP-Performance to 640HP and 780 NM torque. Goes from 0-100kmh in 3.9 seconds and 310kmh top speed.

The BMW Museum had a special exhibit last month. They had many Glas scooters and cars from the 1950’s and 1960’s. Many people do not know that Glas was part of the BMW Group. The Glas factory was closed in 1969 and made over. In 1973 the former Glas factory now produced 5 series in Dingolfing. The rest as we say, is history.
The 2014 BMW F80 M3 and M6 Gran Coupe have landed stateside, with the first spotting coming in Los Angeles!
