The Alpina F30 B3 has started development and we’ve got the first sighting of the prototype. The B3 test mule (based on the F30 335i) provides a good preview of the external styling to expect on the F30 B3, with its Alpina front lip spoiler, aggressive trunk spoiler, quad exhaust, and of course Alpina wheels. It appears that Alpina has now changed the front lip spoiler design from its original preview render. The production version is likely to feature a special exterior color as in past Alpina models.

The F30 B3 will be powered by a highly massaged (by Alpina) N55 engine which should output more than the 400HP from the current B3 S’s N54 engine. It will be offered in automatic transmission only. Expect a top … CONTINUED

Cars I See has released its second installment, following the first which featured an enthusiast’s love for his E30 through 20 years of ownership.

This new installment again features a BMW - this time a classic 1972 BMW 2002. It’s owned and loved by Patrick Burns, who inherited and shares his love for BMWs from his father Wendell. How much love? Father and son own six BMWs between them.

All in all, it’s a great story, proving that BMWs (and automobiles) can help bring people together. Afterall, isn’t that why we’re all here on a forum community full of other BMW enthusiasts?

Although the M3 handles well in the wet for a high performance car, it cannot defy the laws of physics and is susceptible to the whims of mother nature.

This video is proof. It shows an M3 careening out of control over multiple lanes on the rain soaked highways of Taiwan.

Luckily no one was seriously hurt after the M3 crashes and rolls, but it’s a serious reminder to use caution when driving in the wet.

Customer F30 3 Series M Sport models have landed on US shores and into the driveways of their owners. This is our first reported F30 M Sport delivery and it goes to a lucky member in Texas. We’ve also seen the delivery of US spec M Sport F30 in Europe (to an American stationed in Germany).

Congrats to the owners and to all owners to come!
