Bimmerpost is coming to you live from the 2010 NY International Autoshow. Stay tuned later today as we bring you more coverage!
Many a E90post member is afflicted with the “mod bug,” but member ‘saferisk’ has got it bad. All the better for us as we can live vicariously through his major E92 335i-to-M3-look conversion. The look will be M3, but the performance will be upgraded based on the factory N54 engine. Follow the already underway impressive build inside!
Michael Essa, of Tech Trix Motorsports, and GSR Autorsports have teamed up to build and campaign a fully built 335i to run in the 2010 Formula Drift series. It will be powered by the 500hp V10 M5 engine! Check out their “The Office” like videos documenting their Formula D BMW 335i build.
Edmunds Inside Line test drives the facelifted 2011 3-series coupe and convertible. Check out their thoughts on the styling and technical changes to the 3-series’ newest model year.
C&D stacks the BMW 328i convertible up against its 4-seat convertible rivals – the Audi A5, Infiniti G37, and the Lexus IS350C. Despite having the least power of the bunch, the 328i still manages to come out on top, a testament to the car’s BMW driving dynamic and overall feel.
This matte black Hamann styled E92 coupe was spotted in Geneva Switzerland. It seems to combine elements of a regular E92 coupe and an M3. There’s an M3 hood bulge and high performance rotors, but the rest of it appears to be a regular 3-series – mirrors, fenders, etc. Ok fine, it’s a regular 3-series, but we figured it’s cool enough a car to show and feature anyway
Here is the first reported 335is spotted in public, near BMWNA HQ in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. The member who spotted this car described the exhaust as sounding great and the car looking better in person than any photos.
Unexpected debuts have been rare so far at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, but one car which we didnt expect to see was a new Alpina B3 based on the LCI (facelifted) E92 coupe. Power has been bumped up to 400hp / 397lb-ft tq and the car has been fitted with some beautiful aero parts and a stunning interior. Check out the B3 S and the other Alpinas present inside.
We’re live at the Geneva Motor Show where BMW is displaying for the first time the LCI (facelifted) E92 coupe with M-sport package. BMW recently announced that the regular (non 335is) E92 coupes and E93 convertibles can now be ordered with the optional M-Sport package. Also making its debut here in Geneva is the LCI E93 convertible.
