The BMW Group continued to perform successfully during the period under report despite difficult market conditions. Sales volume, revenues and earnings figures all constituted new highs to date for a third quarter. Revenues during the three-month period from July to September rose by 13.7% to € 18,817 million (2011: € 16,547 million). The profit before financial result (EBIT) increased by 13.8% to € 2,004 million (2011: € 1,761 million). Third-quarter profit before tax (EBT) improved by 17.6% to € 1,987 million (2011: € 1,689 million). Net profit for the period came in 16.0% higher at € 1,289 million (2011: € 1,111 million). So far we’ve only seen BMW M Performance aero kit parts for the F30 3 Series installed on white F30s, but here are the first look at how the parts look on a different color – Estoril Blue II and Mineral Grey 3 Series.

The F30 Alpina B3 continues testing and we’ve spotted it at the Nurburgring (spied at BMW’s Nurburgring test center).
The F30 B3 test mules (based on the F30 335i) we’ve seen so far provide a good preview of the external styling to expect on the F30 B3, with its Alpina front lip spoiler, aggressive trunk spoiler, quad exhaust, and of course Alpina wheels. It appears that Alpina has now changed the front lip spoiler design from its original preview render. The production version is likely to feature a special exterior color as in past Alpina models.
The F30 B3 will be powered by a highly massaged (by Alpina) N55 engine which should output more than the 400HP from the current B3 S’s N54 engine. It will be … CONTINUED

You’ve seen plenty of images of the 2013 3 Series Touring (F31), now have a gander at how it looks compared to its predecessor – the E91 3 Series Touring, in some side-by-side comparison photos.
Both look great in our opinion and they both look like fresh designs to our eyes. To a person who has never seen either car, it may indeed be difficult to guess as to which is the newer/older design.
Although not full hi-res images, BMW has posted on its facebook page the first photos of M Performance Parts fitted on the F31 3 Series Touring and F11 5 Series Touring.
As expected, both the F31 and F11 generally share the M Performance Parts from the sedan versions – including black kidney grilles, front bumper splitters (carbon fiber for the F11), carbon fiber mirror caps, rear diffuser, side skirt trim, M Performance brakes, M Performance exhaust system and 20″ wheels (different styles for the F31 and F11).
