We’ve spied the upcoming 3 series F31 touring again, but this time we get a look at it against the outgoing 3 series E91 touring model. The F31′s roof spoiler is also flatter than the E91 roof spoiler, giving the F31 roofline a sleeker shape near the C pillar.

The F31′s side character line is also deeper and longer, extending all the way into the tail lights, unlike the E91′s which ends before reaching the side of the tail lights.

The new BMW 3 series F30 (320d) has been named by Autocar as its pick for the Best Car in the Real World, over the popular Range Rover Evoque.

Autoexpress rightfully calls 3 the magic number for BMW. It’s BMW’s top selling model and has set the standard in the small-medium sports sedan class for decades. As such, any new 3 series model is always big news and the natural question to come to everyone’s mind is how it compares to its most direct rivals – traditionally the Audi A4 and Mercedes Benz C Class.

No surprise, the F30 comes out on top as it has in all the comparisons so far. See the full details/results at Autoexpress.
