The BMW 3 Series established the compact sports sedan segment and laid the foundation stone for the world’s most successful premium model series.

In the medium-size class it is considered the embodiment of the sports sedan and has maintained this leading role for many years unchallenged at the top of the premium segment. Since debuting in the year 1975, more than 12 million customers worldwide have purchased … CONTINUED

It appears that one of the BMW Vision Efficientdynamics car’s more overt and distinguishing design features – the squared-off angel eye lights, will appear on the upcoming F30 3-series. This is the first we have seen this angel eyes design on a production BMW.
We first began seeing the squared-off angel eye lights on the VED concept car, a design concept which flowed down in less radical form to subsequent concept cars such as the Gran Coupe Concept and the 6-series Coupe Concept (all pictured below). … CONTINUED
On the heels of Jaguar revealing its aspirations for a potential F30 3-series fighter, Hyundai’s CEO is now also dropping hints about a potential F30 competitor. John Krafcik recently said to Automotive News that “The Genesis Coupe is in the same segment, really, as the 3-series coupe” and “One of the things we’re thinking is: Should we do something that’s a sedan version of that?”
If it came to fruition, the Genesis sports sedan would share the same RWD platform now used for the Genesis sedan and … CONTINUED

Here’s another BMW vs. Mercedes photo comparison. Shortly after the world debut in their Super Bowl commercial, Mercedes unveiled the all new C-Class Coupe. Size, layout and even some design cues instantly identify it as a strong competitor for the E92 3-series Coupe LCI launched less than a year ago. See for yourself how both fare side to side with … CONTINUED

In an interview with Automotive News, Jaguar’s global brand director, Adrian Hallmark, lets known that the UK automotive company is currently considering bringing a small sedan to market. This new sedan would slot in under the Jaguar XF and compete directly against the F30 3-series or the Audi A4/A5.
