Here are some of the clearest shots yet of the F34 3-series GT in testing, from some different perspectives than we’ve previously posted. We must say, the F34 GT looks much better in motion than at standstill.

Here are a couple new photos of the F34 3-series GT in testing runs on the streets. The 3-series GT will offer a simple hatch function rather than the twin trunk arrangement on the 5er GT. Spotted here is a 6 cylinder turbo version (335i or 335d).

If there is such a thing as a typical BMW, then it is without a doubt the BMW 3 Series. In the medium-size class it is considered the embodiment of the sports sedan and has maintained this leading role for many years unchallenged at the top of the premium segment. We’re excited to bring you the first spy photos of the 3-series Gran Turismo (GT) which will be released with the next generation of 3-series vehicles. With a sleek trunkline and frameless windows, the 3-series GT looks to be much lower and sleeker in shape than the 5-series GT and appears to be generally sportier in nature. The 3-series GT will offer a simple hatch function rather than the twin trunk arrangement on the 5er GT. Spotted here is a 6 cylinder turbo version (335i or 335d).

Active Autowerke held its 30th anniversary spring social this past weekend. Attendance was high and the rides were stunning. A slew of photos and a video from the enthusiast gathering have been posted inside.

Car and Driver renders the F30 3-series sedan, one of the better ones that we have seen. We’ll know soon enough as official F30 pics and details should be released by late this year, and its its world public debut just a few months later at the 2012 Geneva autoshow in March of 2012. The F32 coupe will be unveiled a year later in 2013.

The BMW 320d EfficientDynamics has made the Top Three Finalist for the 2011 World Green Car Award! Its competition will be the Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf. The finalist group was just announced at the Geneva autoshow and the winner will be picked at this year’s New York International Auto Show on Thursday, April 21, 2011.
