The F30/F32 3 Series and 4 Series dominate this year’s array of BMWs, but there are still plenty of M3, M5, 5 Series, Z4 and E90/E92 3 Series being trotted out by major tuners.

What Car? has released its Car of the Year 2014 awards and two BMWs have been named winners – the 435i Coupe and the BMW i3.
The BMW 435i topped the Seat Leon SC and Audi TT What Car?’s Coupes category.

Ahead of the 2013 Motorshow Essen, AC Schnitzer has released images and details on their complete program for the new BMW 4-Series Coupe.
The famed Aachen based tuner has given the 4-Series a complete workup, similar to previous offerings for the F30 3-Series.
Starting under the hood, AC Schnitzer performance software upgrades raise power levels as follow: 420i (to 245 hp), 428i (to 294 hp), 435i (to 360 hp), 420d (to 218 hp), 430d (to 309 hp) and 435d (to 360 hp).

Car and Driver has named their 10 Best list for 2014, and among the list is the BMW 3 and 4 Series (F30 / F32), the 23rd year that the BMW 3 Series has made this list.
BMW’s press conference from the 2013 LA Auto Show yesterday, where the BMW 4 Series Convertible made its world debut, while the BMW i8 and X4 Concept made their North American debuts.

Alpina has just debuted its newest model – the Alpina B4 Biturbo Coupe at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. Japan is Alpina’s third largest market.
The B4 features the same powertrain as the Alpina B3 Biturbo, a twin turbo 3.0L inline 6 producing 410 HP and 443 LB-FT. The Alpina B4 Coupe covers 0-62 MPH in 4.2 seconds and runs up to 197 MPH. An 8 speed automatic transmission is standard.

The 4 Series Convertible (F33) [Official Info Thread] is having its world debut simultaneously at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show as well as the 2013 LA Auto Show.

Jeremy Clarkson’s review of the 435i M Sport in the The Sunday Times certainly starts off rather dour.
All is not lost however, as Clarkson goes on to say that the 4 Series is proof that less can be more, with a final verdict of of 4 out of 5 stars.
