Vorsteiner has released its full tuning kit and program for the F10 5-series, which they’ve dubbed the VMS-F10.
The kit details are as follows:
VMS Front Spoiler
The newly designed VMS front spoiler has been specifically designed to fit F10 5 series vehicles with the optional M Tech package. The front spoiler not only creates a purposeful and functional balance to the front end but is also unmistakably beautiful and precise.
VMS Rear Spoiler
The VMS rear add on carbon deck lid spoiler balances the additional down force created from the new front end and also elegantly extends the tail of the factory boot lid to distinguish the vehicle from other standard production cars. The VMS rear deck lid spoiler is compatible with … CONTINUED

If the F10 5 series is not flashy enough for you, the Russian aftermarket has a cure. We’ve already seen projects such as the gold X5M and matte silver 135i from Russia, so why are we not surprised to see a green chrome F10 M Sport
This F10 5 Series M Sport came from the factory in alpine white. It first had a chrome wrap applied and the second step was the application of a translucent green wrap, which combine to result in the green chrome of the final product.
The aero parts seen on the car include the factory M sport package with some Hamann and AC Schnitzer parts.
BMW has released its second X6 M50d teaser. The company tries to raise the anticipation with this video dubbed “Step 2″. There’s no new information or new details shown, but BMW promises that the X6 M50d will “feel like a race car” and “deserve the M badge”. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if it actually can live up to these promises.
The BMW Group continued on its successful course in November – sales climbed to 138,978 vehicles, an increase of 7.7% over the previous year (prev. yr. 129,001). Global sales of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brand automobiles rose to 1,510,862 (prev. yr. 1,319,808) units in the first eleven months of the year, 14.5% more than in the same period last year and a new record for the company.
Ian Robertson, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, responsible for Sales and Marketing: “This was our best ever November sales month, with growth right across the world. We have already sold more vehicles in the first eleven months of this year than in the whole of 2010 and we have also broken our sales record from 2007 … CONTINUED
It’s teaser time again! Hot off the press here’s part 1 of “a new chapter: powered by BMW M”.
When you listen to the engine carefully you can hear it’s a diesel engine. At this point we can only speculate what this is about exactly, but if we were forced to do so we’d say it’s a promotion for the long-rumored M Performance Diesel models called X6 M50d ( and M550d for the F10) powered by a 3.0l inline 6 Diesel engine with no less than 3 turbochargers.
If rumors coming from a dealer presentation in the Netherlands prove true, this engine will make 381 hp and over 516 lb-ft torque. Complimenting the power plant is a dedicated M Sport Package and some other goodies. In other words, … CONTINUED
BMW of North America has announced a modest inflationary price increase effective January 1, 2012. The Destination and Handling fee for all models will be increased to $895 on that date as well. This increase is less than one percent and applies to the models listed in the table below. In these tough economic times a careful balance was attained between the competitive situation, inflationary conditions, and market realities.
The rumor coming out of a BMW dealer presentation held in the Netherlands last week is that the previously rumored M550d will officially come in with 381 HP from its tri-turbo inline-6 cylinder diesel motor, far lower than the initial speculations of 500+ HP. But it will make over 516 lb-ft torque! Finally, it will be AWD-only, as speculated earlier.
This new tri-turbo diesel F10 5 series was previously confirmed to be coming, but a power figure was not yet known. That set off a round of high horsepower estimates because this model was supposed to have been tuned by BMW M.
Production of the M550d will begin next March, but it’s not yet known whether this model will be available in North America. Future applications for … CONTINUED
