Prior Design has now revealed its F10 5 Series PD-R aerodynamic kit. The front bumper design is a cross between an M3 and 1M bumper. The full kit parts as follows:

The world’s first BMW Individual Moonstone 5 Series (F11 touring) was recently delivered to a 5POST member. BMW has released its second X6 M50d teaser. The company tries to raise the anticipation with this video dubbed “Step 2″. There’s no new information or new details shown, but BMW promises that the X6 M50d will “feel like a race car” and “deserve the M badge”. Guess we’ll have to wait and see if it actually can live up to these promises.
The BMW Group continued on its successful course in November – sales climbed to 138,978 vehicles, an increase of 7.7% over the previous year (prev. yr. 129,001). Global sales of BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brand automobiles rose to 1,510,862 (prev. yr. 1,319,808) units in the first eleven months of the year, 14.5% more than in the same period last year and a new record for the company.

BMW of North America has announced a modest inflationary price increase effective January 1, 2012. The Destination and Handling fee for all models will be increased to $895 on that date as well. This increase is less than one percent and applies to the models listed in the table below. In these tough economic times a careful balance was attained between the competitive situation, inflationary conditions, and market realities.
The rumor coming out of a BMW dealer presentation held in the Netherlands last week is that the previously rumored M550d will officially come in with 381 HP from its tri-turbo inline-6 cylinder diesel motor, far lower than the initial speculations of 500+ HP. But it will make over 516 lb-ft torque! Finally, it will be AWD-only, as speculated earlier.

BMW’s new 2.0L 4 cylinder turbo engine (the “N20″) may be down on cylinders and displacement compared to the inline 6 cylinder (N52) that it replaces across BMW’s model range, but even in factory form, it matches the outgoing N52′s horsepowers and features an extra 30 lb-ft of torque (in the X1 xDrive28i, X3 xDrive28i, F20 128i, 528i, Z4 sDrive28i, and upcoming F30 328i).
