BMW has plans for a product push over the next decade to ward off increasing Audi and Mercedes sales. This will be accomplished through the addition of new models to the BMW lineup, including the 4dr 6-series Gran Coupe, BMW FWD vehicles, new MINI vehicles, added factory capacities and new plants, and increasing sales in the world’s largest growing car market – China.
The upcoming 6-series has been one of the most frequently spied future BMWs as it’s one of the BMW models that will be revealed in the next few months (Winter of 2010/2011). This is the first time a blue convertible has been spotted and also some of the best photos yet of the grill/duct work of the front bumper. The CLS itself is being updated this year, with the new model already seen and set to be officially launched very soon. BMW for its part has been leaking word that the stunningly beautiful Concept Gran Coupe has been green lit for production and will likely slot inside of the 6-Series family.
