Just as BMW officially premieres the all new 6-series cabrio at the 2011 NAIAS this week, we are given the best look yet at the production intent 6-series coupe, which up until now has been clad in heavy camouflage. This vermillion red test car shows off styling that resembles the 6-series convertible, yet draws on styling cues from the stunning Concept Gran Coupe.
The model spied here appears to be a 640i coupe, which should be powered by BMW’s inline 6-cylinder turbo N55 motor. The 6-series coupe … CONTINUED
These are the best spy photos yet of the upcoming 6-series convertible! Save for a few pieces of not very disguising tape, the production 6-series cabrio comes into view. The cloth hardtop remains on this 650i convertible (but we’ve been told that a hardtop option will be available).
Here’s another set of spy shots showing the 2012 6 series convertible, this one was caught parked in Munich. The exterior color appears to be Milano Beige metallic, and the exhaust tips give it away as a 650i.
We bring you the first sighting of the next generation 6-series coupe (F12) testing on the Nurburgring. The last coupe sightings were back in April and only F13 convertibles have been spotted since. This comes as no surprise as the coupe is scheduled for production a few months after the start of convertible production.
Judging by the exhaust and premium sport wheels, this appears to be a 650i coupe.

The upcoming 6-series has been one of the most frequently spied future BMWs as it’s one of the BMW models that will be revealed in the next few months (Winter of 2010/2011). This is the first time a blue convertible has been spotted and also some of the best photos yet of the grill/duct work of the front bumper. The profile shot shows off the incredibly sleek silhouette that the F13 6-series convertible will have.

Seems like its gone on forever, but the 6-series convertible continues testing. Spotted recently was a 650i and 640i convertible. As before, not much camouflage remains on these test mules and it doesn’t take much imagination to picture the final production 6-series convertible. We recently brought you photos of the F13 2012 6-series convertible undergoing testing on the ring. Various F13′s have also been spotted on and around the Nurburgring in various models and trims, including what looks to be 650i and 640i convertibles.
We bring you photos of the F13 6-series convertible sporting a tan color soft top for the first time. We have not yet seen confirmation of the soft top colors to be available on the upcoming F13. If this tan top is one of those colors, it certainly matches Milano Beige (as pictured), but were not sure it will work well with other exterior colors.

This 650 F13 6-series convertible has hit the Nurburgring with less camo than previously seen during its track testing. To recap, this next generation 6-series will very closely follow the design lines that have been set fourth with the BMW Concept Gran Coupe.
