BMWUSA has posted up their newest BMW 6-Series TV Ad, which is titled “The Moment”. The ad features the topless 6 barelling down canyon roads and through tunnels at good speed with the V8 growl providing a soundtrack. All the elements needed for a good commercial. The punchline at the end of course is to “Remember to Breath”, which is BMWUSA’s theme for the new 6.

An astute (and camera equipped) site member spotted this Le Mans blue F13 6-series coupe M-sport on the way to work this morning. This is the first time we have seen the 6-series coupe M-sport prototype with the actual M-sport wheels, which we uncovered last month. Thanks to LeMans335xiE90 for his efforts, as he was 1 hour late to work for bringing us this video.

The 2011 Shanghai Auto Show kicked off yesterday and this year’s show highlights the importance BMW now places on the Chinese market. The F10 M5 concept and the 2012 6-series coupe both made their world public debuts. Also being shown for the first time was the F10 5-series plug-in hybrid prototype.

Here is the first look at the launch film of the 2012 BMW 6-series coupe (F13), which will make its world public debuts at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show and the 2011 NY International Auto Show this week.
Featured is a stunning 650i coupe in vermillion red. The 650i coupe features BMW’s 4.4L V8 twin turbo engine, making 400hp and 450lb-ft torque. It runs the 0-60mph in just 4.8 seconds.
When we posted up the first TV commercials for the new 6 series two days ago, there was a pretty big stir. Not over the car or its design, but over the commercial and what the meaning was. Some focused on the two men smiling at each, some focused on the little girl and others bemoaned the fact that the cars weren’t racing around a purebread race track.
First and foremost, we need to understand that these commercials are created by the marketing team, and aren’t a reflection on what the engineers and designers had in their minds, its just a tool to convey a message.
