We had the good fortune to attend the Techno Classica car show in Essen this past weekend. BMW had a HUGE display(again) this year. What I always love about BMW’s display is that they bring their old classic cars from BMW Classic while they also invite the “creme dela creme” BMW car clubs thru out Germany, to come out and represent the brand. I think this is what makes this show special for me. Members from the various BMW car clubs are on hand to answer any questions you might have. As are Representatives from BMW Classic and Motorsports Dept.

With its latest models and groundbreaking concept studies on show at Auto Shanghai 2013 [beginning April 20, 2013], BMW is offering a clear pointer to its continuing model push.
The Shanghai show is the stage for the world premiere of the BMW Concept X4, which carries the attributes of a Sports Activity Coupe into a further vehicle segment. The study reveals at first sight how smoothly the qualities of a BMW X model meld with the genes of a BMW Coupe.
Auto Shanghai 2013 also sees the Asian premiere of a further BMW concept: the BMW Concept Active Tourer affords a preview of how comfort and functionality of space can be combined with dynamics and style in the premium compact segment.

These two desirable BMW coupes are on exhibit at the 2013 NY auto show, with the F13 M6 coupe representing the newly here while the 135is coupe is on its way out.

The 135is coupe will be replaced later this year by the BMW M235i coupe (the E82 1 series coupe will be replaced by the F22 2 series coupe). Although the F31 touring has been available in international markets, the U.S. will finally see it in dealers soon, in the form of the 328i xDrive, like the one seen here on the 2013 NYIAS showfloor. Specs and pricing listed in the information placard photo below. The F31 U.S. online configurator recently came online at BMWUSA.com. The 328 xDrive touring starts at $41,450.
Likewise, the BMW 320i has also been available outside the U.S. (since the launch of the F30 3 series), but will also be hitting U.S. dealers soon. The 320i starts at $33,445 and the xDrive model at $35,445. Here are its vital specs:

This Estoril Blue F30 328i with M Performance parts and stripes is on display at the 2013 New York International Auto Show and represents the debut of a M Performance Parts equipped F30 at a North America auto show.
This F30 is equipped with the M Performance front splitters/lip, wheels (20″ Style 405M), brakes, sideskirts, trunk spoiler lip, rear bumper diffuser, and M Performance racing stripes. It rides on stock suspension (not M Sport suspension).
