A stunning red X6 M decked out in BMW’s latest M Performance Parts and on display today at the M section of the 2011 Frankfurt IAA. The carbon fiber parts and the catchy red color really contrasted and complimented each other nicely.

The 3 series coupe and 3 series convertible Edition Exclusive and M Sport Edition made their world premier today, at the 2011 Frankfurt IAA. The 2011 Frankfurt IAA auto show is underway and we bring you the first of our coverage, starting with the BMW Performance F20 1 series.
As we’ve posted earlier, this is a showcase vehicle used to introduce the new line of BMW Accessories for the 2012 F20 1 series, which include BMW Performance front bumper with spoiler lip, performance rear bumper, sideskirts, black grilles, carbon fiber mirror covers, performance stripes, 19″ Performance wheels, and BMW Performance brakes.

The 2011 Frankfurt IAA auto show is underway and we’re here to bring you live coverage from bar none BMW’s largest display of any auto show it officially attends.
The BMW display is massive, taking up its very own hall at the Messe Frankfurt convention center. Like the 2009 Frankfurt IAA (the last one held), the hall features a full circle driving track which BMW used to dazzle the press as part of its press conference.

The 2011 BMW Car Club of British Columbia’s Concours event was held this past Sunday and Bimmerpost members were in attendance. Here are event photos, along with a nice drive video by a member showing the scenery of British Columbia as he drove from home to the concours.
At this year’s IAA, BMW will once again be presenting its world premiere vehicles actively on a circuit in Hall 11 on the Frankfurt Exhibition Site. The successful concept of presenting the cars as they drive has been developed and refined, providing the press and the public with the experience of efficiency and dynamics through the products themselves. The combination of trade fair and event in the form of stage shows will allow visitors to become immersed in the world of the brand.

Beautiful and mint conditioned BMWs new and old were on display at the PNW 2011 BMW Concours d’Elegance over the weekend in Washington state. Run by BMWCCA Pugent Sound Region, this autoshow featured multiple judged classes, as well as display classes, motorcycles, new car classes, and race car displays.
This year’s feature model was the E90/E92/E92 M3.

The 2012 BMW M5 made its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed which is taking place this week in the UK. Along with the F10 M5 was the 1M coupe on display, as well as a bevy of other BMWs and other generally cool cars.

We’ve covered the M3 CRT reveal at the M Night event, and now for the F10 M5, which was the second vehicle to make its appearance at M Night. Appearing in the beautiful monte carlo blue color that we’ve seen in the M5′s marketing materials, BMW’s new super sedan was certainly more beautiful in person than in online print (as usual). Its color was actually more vibrant and even more impressive in person. It even shows in the photos we took.
BMW M Festival has officially kicked off tonight with M Night, where we participated in the first public viewing of the 2012 BMW M5 and the just revealed BMW M3 CRT [Official Info Thread].
The event took place in BMW’s building at the Nurburgring track. The building itself had stadium seating on the side of the building facing the track to observe cars and races running on the famed ‘ring’. The event took place on the ground level in the event hall.

Here’s a first video of the BMW 328 Hommage, at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, on the grounds of the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este on Lake Como, where 50 historic and iconic cars built between the twenties and seventies are displayed in a celebration of automotive past. No engine rev unfortunately, but it does have a nice burble.
