The highly anticipated M Sport Package for the new F30 3-series sedan has made another appearance, this time at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. While earlier shows and presentations saw the 335i M Sport, this is the first time we see a 328i getting the M Sport treatment. As most should know, the exterior color is called Estoril Blue II and it’s exclusive to the M Sport package.
This car is also fitted with the M Sport Brakes comprising of fixed piston calipers painted in blue at all 4 corners (4-piston units at the front, 2-piston units at the rear).
The M Sport Package for the F30 3-series will be available as of July 2012 production, with first US deliveries to be expected in September.

It’s still quite new on the market but already has many admirers: In February, the new BMW 3- series was launched officially. Now the smart, energetic Bavarian is winning even more hearts at the international Motor Show in Geneva – helped by the tuning specialists at AC Schnitzer.
The Aachen-based experts from AC Schnitzer help the 3-series make an even more impressive appearance with a performance upgrade for the BMW 328i. An extra control unit allows it to deliver 217 kW/ 295 HP and a maximum torque of 410 Nm onto the asphalt, and with its governed top speed of 250 km/h the 3-series by AC Schnitzer tightens the bonds to its driver. As appearances are also important, these inner values are reflected in the AC Schnitzer … CONTINUED
THE BMW ALPINA B6 BITURBO – CABRIO INDULGENCE AND COUPE CULTURE
DRIVE – FIRST CLASS PERFORMANCE AND ECONOMY
For ALPINA, a technology driven company, standstill is a foreign word. Since the introduction of the B7 Bi-Turbo, the engineers from Buchloe, Germany, have been continuously working on the details of the turbo charging and intercooler system.
Consequently, the all-aluminium V8 power plant now produces 540hp (397kW) at a moderate 5200 to 6250rpm, with a maximum torque of 730Nm from 2800 to 5000rpm. Two turbo-chargers configured in parallel, each feeding one of the two cylinder banks, with specially developed large diameter exhaust-turbines allow this engine configura- tion to provide both exceptional power output and an abundance of torque over an especially broad rpm range while maintaining excellent throttle response at low … CONTINUED
The M135i Concept has debuted at the 2012 Geneva Motorshow. It previews the upcoming M135i, the next vehicle which will join the ranks of BMW’s new M Performance vehicle lineup (in addition to the already revealed M550d and X5/X6 M50d). It also represents the first petrol/gasoline M Performance model. If that’s not enough firsts, this concept is also the first official look at the F21 3-door hatchback.
No specs have been released on the M135i yet, but BMW has printed that it employs a straight six-cylinder petrol power plant featuring M Performance Twin Power Turbo technology with a power output of more than 300 hp.

We bring some news directly from the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. We had an opportunity to chat with BMW M President Dr. Friedrich Nitschke earlier today at the show and contrary to earlier reports from BMW insider SCOTT26, Dr. Nitschke ruled out M versions of the current X3 or Z4 for the current generation.
When asked about a possible Z4M, Dr. Nitschke said: “In the current generation we won’t bring a Z4M, but for the successor we’re thinking about it.” Dr. Nitschke went on to say in regards to the X3M: “Also, with the current X3, we won’t bring an M version, but with the successor generation we’ll see.”
The F11 M5 Touring was also ruled out. Again, coming directly from Dr. Nitschke: “with the current M5 we … CONTINUED
The all new 2012 BMW M6 coupe (official info thread) is the star of the BMW display at the 2012 Geneva Motorshow, based on our affinity for the car and how swarmed the car was. It’s no wonder given the M6′s hard-to-miss Sakhir Orange color, sculpted carbon fiber roof, and very aggressive bodywork.
And the F13 M6 coupe has got the performance to match its looks. Its 560hp/502 lb-ft torque propels it from 0-62mph in only 4.2 seconds (compared to M6 convertible’s 4.3 sec and M5′s 4.4 sec). The model on display also features the optional M carbon ceramic brakes which reduce fade and reduce weight by 19.4 kg (42.8 lb) over the standard brakes.
Expect the M6 to hit the US market around September. For all M6 … CONTINUED
Our live coverage from Geneva 2012 continues. Another world premiere is the F20 125i equipped with the just-launched M Performance Parts. Unlike the old Performance Parts, M Performance parts have been developed with M engineers. Also unlike the old Performance Parts, M Performance exterior parts are designed to complement the M Sport package. The front splitter and lip simply attach to the M Sport front bumper while the rear diffuser simply replaces the rear diffuser of the M Sport package. No whole replacements of bumpers required any longer. This will be a feature of all exterior M Performance parts for all BMW models.
Also seen on this 125i are lovely 19″ M Performance wheels (available in 20″ for the F10 and the F30), and the M Performance … CONTINUED
