The M3 ZCP Competition model has been spotted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show! This Monte Carlo M3 ZCP looks stunning in the dark room with dramatic overhead lighting, room soundtrack, and wall graphics.
Unexpected debuts have been rare so far at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, but one car which we didnt expect to see was a new Alpina B3 based on the LCI (facelifted) E92 coupe. Power has been bumped up to 400hp / 397lb-ft tq and the car has been fitted with some beautiful aero parts and a stunning interior. Check out the B3 S and the other Alpinas present inside.

Before this morning’s BMW Press Conference came and went, we had already accepted the sad fact that no BMW M1 concept would be making a surprise appearance. So why no M1 appearance? If a certain insider is to be believed, it’s because a higher-up at BMW recently drove and was disappointed by the M1 prototype, and has requested changes which the M1 concept is currently undergoing. The world wide premiere of the F10 5-series ActiveHybrid concept is not until the official BMW Press Conference tomorrow, but we bring you photos today of BMW’s newest hybrid concept. As you can see by the scene, the 5-series hybrid is a main part of a presentation that will be held by Dr. Reithofer, which will stress BMW’s EfficientDynamics concept.
BMW recently announced a full lineup of BMW Performance Parts for the X6, including both power upgrades and cosmetic enhancements. As you can see, the Performance Parts aero parts is a stunning and aggressive upgrade to the regular X6. We almost mistakened it for an X6M upon first glance! The new 5-series touring (F11) model will make its world debut at the 2010 Auto Mobil International (AMI) being held on April 10, 2010 in Leipzig, Germany. Germany is traditionally the biggest market for the 5-series wagon so it’s natural that the F11 make its debut in Leipzig. The F11 touring is not expected to be available in the U.S. market however.

So far, ActiveHybrid cars have been interesting reads, but very much out of reach for the average BMW enthusiast. The system has exclusively been fit to the 7 series and X6, two of the most expensive cars in the BMW lineup. Whats worse, the mere addition of Active Hybrid to those cars has shot the price tag up even higher.

The 2010 autoshow in Detroit saw the official presentation of a few cars that are very important to rounding out BMWs vehicle portfolio, especially in the United States.
Notably, the all new BMW Z4 sDrive35is which is the first car to feature the new uprated N54 Twin Turbo engine mated to specifically tuned DCT drivetrain and suspension. This car is the closest one will get to an ///M Z4.

Hamann brought out its F01 7-series to the Frankfurt IAA featuring a Hamann bumper with LED lights, sideskirts, roof spoiler, quad exhaust pipes, and trunk spoiler. Hamann wheels finish off the exterior look.
The 7 series M-sport was recently introduced at the Frankfurt IAA. This is the first time it has been shown to the public.
Its the 740d, with biturbo 3.0L diesel outputting 306hp.

The special limited edition “BMW M3 Edition” made its appearance at Frankfurt IAA in a stunning Monte Carlo Blue metallic paint. Production is limited to 6 months and all BMW M3 Edition cars come with a host of special touches, such as:
- Dark eloxy-plated chrome kidney grille, side gills, and the dual tailpipes on the exhaust system
- Black finish on the the caps on the special BMW M exterior mirrors, attached to the A-pillar by dual arms finished in body colour.
