This race features a ESS VT2-650 Supercharged M3 vs Gintani Stage 2 Supercharged M3. Both cars featured DCT transmission and FBO (full bolt-ons). There were two runs, featured in the video below.

As in previous events, we saw some of the most powerful European, Domestic, and Japanese cars go head-to-head on a half mile stretch of tarmac. The classes ranged from 400hp+ all the way to 1000hp+

This race features a ESS VT3-750 Supercharged M3 vs Mclaren MP4-12C (with performance upgrade - 616hp). Results in the video.

The BMW F80 M3 sedan prototype has once again been spotted in Southern California - Los Angeles to be exact.

Those are non-production mirrors on the prototype. The production ones remain hidden under more advanced prototypes

The BMW Group sold more vehicles in March than in any other month in its history. The company sold a total of 191,269 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles in the past month, exceeding the previous all-time high in March last year (185,741 units/+3.0%). The company also achieved a new high for the first three months: Retail volumes for the year to the end of March increased by 5.3% to 448,200 units (prev. yr. 425,543 units).

The eight BMW DTM M3 cars which will race for BMW Motorsports in the upcoming 2013 DTM season were recently unveiled at a special event at BMW Welt. Prior to that however, the team was busy test driving and making preparations for the upcoming season at Valencia and Jerez tracks in Spain.

The eight BMW drivers will next test their cars at Hockenheim (Germany) for the final pre-season test, ahead of the start of the season in four weeks time. Enjoy the sights and sounds below!

BMW may not be producing an F11 M5 touring model, but that hasn’t stopped Studie from assembling its own, albeit in cosmetic form only.

Starting with a titanium silver F11 528i, they added the M5’s front fenders, side view mirrors, and rear diffuser, while molding their own custom front bumper.

These pics give us a good idea at how good an F11 M5 would have been.

The races featured in the videos are against a CLS 63, 997 Turbo, C63, and Lamborghini LP560.

The BMW 328i has been selected as the winner of the Cars.Com Sports Sedan Challenge. The 3 Series emerged as the winner in a series of evaluations including race track testing, instrumented measurements, street driving and a long distance trip on different types of roads.

The BMW 3 Series and five competitor cars were judged by a panel of experts from Cars.com, MotorWeek, and USA Today. The cars were also judged by actual car shoppers who were in the market for a sport sedan and were invited to participate.
