Some more 2011 M3 Competition Package (ZCP) information has come to light. Though the ZCP package will include special ZCP competition wheels, the tires will be regular 19″ M3 wheels. Also coming to light is good news for fans of matte color finish: there will likely be multiple matte colors options for the ZCP M3.
Autospies was on hand at the 2011 BMW 5-Series press launch event held in Cascais, Portugal. They were able to ogle and take photos of the 550i, 535i, and 520d.
BMW continues testing the X3 but doesn’t yet want to pull of anymore camo so once again we see the black and white psychadelic camo and not much else. Like the X1, the proportions look good and this should end up as a very nice upgrade to the current X3 when the car is finally released.

It’s been confirmed that the 2011 M3 will receive a competition package (ZCP) just as with the E46 M3. Exact package details are not yet available, but the E46 M3 competition package should provide some good direction as to what enhancements the ZCP package will include.

Its no secret. We love Alpina cars But love affair aside, it is a rare sight to see an Alpina car on the road. The guys at Autogespot have done just that and spotted a B7 while refuelling somewhere in Belgium. This car will be arriving in the USA soon enough and I have a feeling there will be quite a few people queing up to buy this car.

It seems BMWs Concept ActiveE isnt just a showcar. Following their sucessful MINI-e lease program in the US BMW will start a similar program for the electric 1-series. This means that the car will be available in select cities and you will have to apply to own the car.
The actual number of cars which will be available is unknown. But if history is any guide it wont exactly be easy to get your hands on the car. Looking at the MINI-e program, there are currently 450 of the cars on the roads out of an applicant pool of over 1800.
