BMW AG to open new mega dealership in Berlin…
On May 10th & 11th, 2014 – BMW AG will hold a grand opening of their new premiere factory run dealership in Berlin’s Charlottenburg district.
BMW spent 65 -million-euro’s for the construction project. Over 300 employees will work here. The new location will replace BMW’s next closets dealership which is 45 years old. The new building will be able to display: BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad and also the new i-brand cars (i3 & i8).

With 141,093 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce brand vehicles delivered worldwide (prev. yr. 133,631/ +5.6%), the BMW Group achieved its best-ever February sales result. Brandirectory has published its 2014 list of most valuable global brands. Toyota was listed as the most valuable automotive brand (and #11 overall), while BMW was ranked as the second most valuable auto brand (#17 overall).

BMW Group is building a second production hall at a carbon-fiber factory jointly run with SGL Carbon SE to respond to growing demand for its i-subbrand models.
The automaker says it also expects to use the material in other vehicles in its lineup.

Munich. The BMW Group sold more vehicles in 2013 than ever before in the company
Mercedes-Benz withstood a late surge from BMW, ending its rival’s two-year reign as the U.S. luxury-vehicle sales leader as the breadth of Mercedes’s lineup pushed it to a record year.
Mercedes posted a 17 percent gain in December with 33,007 deliveries, as the new entry-level CLA, and revamped mid-size E-class and premium S-class cars led the gains. For the year, Mercedes sales rose 14 percent to 312,534, or 3,254 more than BMW’s 2013 total.
