This is one extreme 1 Series Coupe (E82) build! It has received a heart transplant and is now powered by a turbocharged S54 motor, good for approximately 800 WRHP! Here are the full build specs so far:

Chassis:

- 2012 make factory new bodyshell
- Glassfiber bodykit and doors
- Carbonfiber hood, roof, trunk, inner fenders and dash

Suspension/subframe:

-E92 front and rear subframe incl diff and electric steering
-Custom K-sport E92 M3 spec coilovers
-K-sport 356mm front and 330mm rear brakes
-Custom exhaust with twin pipes
-noname wheels

Interior

-Sparco bucket seats and 6 point harness
-E30 carbondash
-Dashllogger
-Pedalbox
-Hydraulic handbrake

Engine:

-S54B32 fully forged block internals , CP pistons, H rods, ARPs ++

BMW today launched the Electronaut Effect, a new digital tool that gives consumers access to key aggregated data about the range, cost savings and positive environmental impact that actual BMW ActiveE drivers – called “Electronauts” – are experiencing across the country. This unfiltered information, updated weekly, will help inform consumers’ decision about purchasing an electric vehicle.

The Electronaut Effect at www.bmwusa.com/ElectronautEffect features aggregate car data for the 700 BMW ActiveEs – the first fully-electric BMWs – and their drivers, participating in the BMW ActiveE Field Trial that began January 2012. This streamlined data is presented in three basic categories: Range (i.e., most miles driven in one day), Savings (i.e., total money saved), and Environment (i.e., gallons of gas not used).

These two desirable BMW coupes are on exhibit at the 2013 NY auto show, with the F13 M6 coupe representing the newly here while the 135is coupe is on its way out.

This black sapphire metallic M6 is the flagship BMW M coupe with its 560hp / 502 lb-ft torque twin turbo V8 powerplant, while the 135is coupe remains one of BMW’s best performing small coupe, for now…

The 135is coupe will be replaced later this year by the BMW M235i coupe (the E82 1 series coupe will be replaced by the F22 2 series coupe). BMW is recalling certain model year 2008-2012 1-Series coupes and convertibles manufactured December 2007 through July 2011; and 2007-2011 3-Series coupes and convertibles manufactured March 2007 through July 2011; 2007-2011 3-Series sedans manufactured March 2007 through October 2011; 2007-2011 3-Series sports wagons manufactured March 2007 through June 2011; and 2009-2011 Z4 vehicles manufactured March 2009 through June 2011.

The connector for the positive battery cable connector and the corresponding terminal on the fuse box may degrade over time. Over time, the high current flow and heat from electrical resistance may lead to a breakage of the connection, and a loss of electrical power to the vehicle.

Here is a DIY install guide for installing N55 mid pipes on a N54 powered model and deleting the secondary cats.

The main benefit of deleting the N54’s secondary cats is more flow, better faster spool up of the turbos, and a louder more deeper tone of the exhaust note.
