Unfortunately the BMW thefts in the UK continue. Using the security flaw on the OBD Port which allows key cloning on the spot, a group of thieves managed to steal away an M3POST member’s E92 M3 coupe.
BMW UK has started flashing cars with a software update to prevent theft using this method. A link to the details can be found inside.

Here is the first BMW Individual Frozen Brilliant White M3 delivered to an M3POST member. Lucky owner PrimoM3 recently took delivery of it in Munich (via European Delivery).

Several BIMMERPOST members attended a 3-day HPDE together at the Mazda Laguna Seca raceway two weekends ago. The driving event was hosted by the Porsche Club and all members had a great time while seeing the good representation of BMW cars in attendance.

Valencia (ES), 30th September 2012. Brazilian debut in Valencia (ES): BMW Team RBM’s Augusto Farfus has won his first DTM race at the “Circuit de la Comunitat”. The 29-year-old, at the wheel of the Castrol EDGE BMW M3 DTM, crossed the finish line 8.406 seconds ahead of Adrien Tambay (FR, Audi) to become the first Brazilian in the history of the DTM to celebrate on the top step of the podium. He had previously claimed his first pole position in the series on Saturday.

As the 2012 DTM season enters the finishing straight, BMW Motorsport is already on course for next year: As of 2013, four BMW teams will do battle for points and victories in the popular touring car series. Like BMW Team Schnitzer, BMW Team RBM and BMW Team RMG, newly-formed BMW Team MTEK will also run two BMW M3 DTMs.
