BMW insider has revealed that the BMW Concept Gran Coupe has already been approved for production as the 6-series Gran Coupe. The new 6-series line will thus have 3 variants - the coupe, Gran Coupe, and convertible. A shooting brake model concept has also been built for evaluation. The BMW Concept Gran Coupe will make its debut at the 2010 Paris auto show.

Testing season is fully underway in Germany and the upcoming F12 BMW 6-series is fully involved. Here we see the upcoming 6-series still wearing heavy camoflage over the entire front and rear ends, which will be the most drasticly changed parts of the car when compared to the current example. This is a car that as some may remember has been said to be the "Best-looking BMW in years" by BMWUSA officials.

This 6-series coupe test mule was spotted again recently in Munich. The very first 6-series coupe test mule was spotted and photographed just this past week. This test mule still wears heavy camouflage panels and paint, but its overall proportions and shape can still be appreciated. The new 6-series coupe is due to launch in 2011.

Resident photoshopper Gerald Alvarez has now put his imagination and photoshop skills to work on the next 6-series convertible (F13), based on our recent spy photos of the F12 6-series coupe and F13 6-series convertible.
We bring you the first ever sighting of the next generation 6-series coupe (F12)! Until now, only the 6-series convertible prototype has been spotted. This 6-series coupe prototype clearly differs from the convertible in the larger rear window, different side windows, and different B-pillars.

We bring you the most revealing photos yet of the next generation 6-series convertible (F13). Compared to the previous sightings, the car seen here reveals more details. For the first time we are seeing the front kidney grill outlines and outlines of the headlights and tail lights.
The F13 6-series will be a folding hardtop convertible (the cloth covering the hardtop is a decoy) and is expected to debut late this year for a possible premiere at the Geneva Autoshow in March 2011.
