BMW has been busy trademarking. Below is a list of some recent BMW trademark filings for future potential models. Remember, just because a manufacturer registers a trademark does not mean that the model will necessarily come to fruition. But, it makes for some fun speculation and certainly paints a rough map of what potential future models we may see out of Munich.

On display at the BMW exhibit at the 2012 AMI auto show is a frozen bronze 640d gran coupe with BMW Individual interior.
Elsewhere in the exhibit was the first BMW 114i to be shown to the public. The 114i features a de-tuned version of the 116i’s 1.6L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. Power output is 101hp / 133 lb-ft. 0-100km/h (62mph) in 11.2 seconds with top speed of 195km/h (121mph). Average fuel consumption is 5.5lt/100km (42.8mpg US).

Press conference from the 6 Series Gran Coupe international press drives in Sicily, Italy, along with our first drive review.
BMW invited us to test the all-new 6 Series Gran Coupe (internally dubbed F06) [full info thread] which is set to complement the already available Coupe (F13) and Cabrio (F12) versions. Here’s our review after two days and roughly 160 miles.
Let’s begin with some facts and figures. At 197.1 inches, the Gran Coupe is about four inches longer than the F13 Coupe, and only 2.7 inches shorter than the F01 7 Series. To allow the additional doors and rear space, the wheelbase of the Gran Coupe has been increased by 4.5 inches over the Coupe, making for 116.9 inches in total. We’re here in gorgeous Sicily, Italy for the BMW press drives for the 2013 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe. There’s a fleet of 6 Series Gran Coupes here for evaluation and on display at the hotel is a Space Grey / Cohiba Brown Individual 650i and Citrin Black Individual 640i M Sport, which we’ve posted photos of below.
