I'm looking to lease a new 335i coupe via ED. These are the numbers that dealer has quoted me. Everytime I run the numbers through a lease calculator the payment doesn't match his (I come up with less). Can someone break this down for me?
Months- 24
Miles- 15,000
Residual- 71%
Tax- 3%
Money Factor- .00210
Acquisition Fee- $625
Tag & Title- I'll pay out of pocket
MSRP: $51,875
Invoice: $45,105
Sales Price: $45,605
Doc Fee: $499
$2400 down ($625 acq fee + $499 doc fee + $600 security deposity + first payment + a couple of dollars to provide a nice round number)
$595.17 a month
Thanks in advance for your help!

And what's the 499 doc fee?
It's a dealer fee, a bogus fee in my opinion this dealer is charging to fill out the paperwork.

Dealer emailed me today and said the rates went up with BMWFS and its going to cost me $50 more a month and I have to come up with another $500 at signing. He gave me this new info:
=============================================
Months- 24
Miles- 15,000
Residual- 69%
Tax- 3%
Money Factor- .00225 (with beacon score of 740+) or .00230 (regardless of beacon score)
Acquisition Fee- $625
MSRP: $51,875
Invoice: $45,105
Sales Price: $45,605
Doc Fee: $499
$2500 down (I’m figuring $625 acquisition fee + $499 doc fee + $650 security deposit + first payment + a couple of dollars to provide a nice round number)
$648.78 a month
Includes a fully refundable $650 security deposit…
================================================== ==
I haven't confirmed any of the numbers yet but I'm not happy with the increases.

Dealers can add up to .0004 into the MF.. So they are probably doing this.. The MF rates you see posted on this site are buy rates and the dealer would make nothing off it.. Usually you can get them to to split their add on in half which can lower your payments sometimes around $40-60 a month.

I also think 36 month leases work better for bimmers for some reason. You might want to look into that as well.
