Which logo should be used as the 6MT Club signature?

It is now time to determine the Official logo of the Official 6MT Club. As the Honorary President of the club, and under the enlightening guidance of the two honorable founding members, S & E, I took upon myself to initiate this survey as the first project of my administration in leading the club to a prosperous future (mission statement tbd).

Only members of the Official 6MT Club should respond to this survey. Club membership is now officially defined as:

"A forum member, who owns, or has placed an order for, an E9X M3 with 6MT, and has made a post on the Official 6MT thread stating he/she would like to be a member of the club and has adopted the Official club logo as his/her signature."

Obviously, there is no logo yet to be adopted, but once this survey ends, that should be settled.

There are 7 choices that have been generated by current club members through a collaborative process. You are being asked to vote for one of them. If you are not a current club member, your vote will be discarded (this is a public poll). The poll will end Tuesday 3/11 17:21 EST. Although the design of the selected logo will not be changed, it may need to be resized so don't too much attention to sizes of the images.

I think logo 2 makes the best signature, but I like the clarity more in logo 3.
Perhaps a combination...? Make the shifter the same size as in logo 2 but with the more clearly defined lettering, etc. Keep the long rectangle view. A large square for a signature isn't as smooth. Also, keep the regular "M" in 6MT in logo 2.
Just some thoughts.

I feel the people who put the logos together shouldn't vote as we will be bias. I do agree that the rectangle suits best and on a personal note I prefer the daylight look but where I differ from Enigma is that I think the M in the 6MT looks best matching the BMW M logo, it's looks the part.

oops. too late. i voted for what i thought was nice. i dont think my work was nice to be honest. didnt have time to fix it.

I really wanted to like #3...

Can we clean up the edges of the lettering of #3, because I like the thinner font vs. 1 & 2 I just couldn't vote for it as is. I went with #2.

I thought I tried out a version a bit ago that had the thinner font, just cleaner.:confused2

But is it too late for a change, like a few here I think the inclusion of the pedals from South's design is the way forward but personally I feel my lettering on the gear knob works better. If enough people felt that a combination of both would work best then surely neither South, Lucid or myself would be put out by taking the best from each of the design to make the best possible logo. :drink:

Nice design OC, but I think we should just stick to the current pole and make a decision from that, at least get a standardised logo...In future we can always have a re-vote.

I think we should say that the best design won and acknowledge that this was a team effort with individual dimensions. Long live Logo 1! :drink:

I suggest we adopt it as is and don't mess with it right now. It can always be made better, but we had enough discussion around that for the time being. Maybe in a few months, we can open it up for minor revisions.

To me it seems a little "artificially brightened"

Also, I am not part of the club (will be soon!), but I would just like to suggest...maybe you can change the M for red, and keep everything white. Just to see how it looks.
