True. ST, Tein & Bilstein are all made from galvanized steel.

KW V2/V3 is better against extreme winters as they are stainless steel.

The E93 application is different as the rear spring rates need to be higher to handle the additional weight. There have been people that installed the coupe application on the convertible. We have V1 & V2 in stock, will PM you pricing ;)

i got the ST coilover from one of the buyer that original bought it from Sam.

got it install couple days ago. I can't believe how much of a different compare to my H&R sport/Oem non sport shocks. I have the H&R for almost 2 yrs, and i start to notice the oem shocks is dieing on me. Got these install couple days ago, and right away you can tell the different. handleing is a whole lot better than just the spring. And the ride is not as stiff. I have H&R race with koni yellow on my E46 before, but is nothing compare to this set up. If you don't mind it might get rust over the years, will recommend to everyone. Is cheap, but it is well build. Btw, i when i get it install, i actually ask the shop to adjust the height to show me what's the highest i can go and what's the lowest. If you adjust it to the highest, you'll have almost 3 1/2 finger of gap on the rear (i've 19' M6 rep, 265/35/19) and the lowest is at least half inch of the tires stuck into the fender. and for the front is 2 1/2 finger at the highest, and no gap between the tire and the fender at lowest.

just like to add that i picked these up from autotalent, and they sent me over to long since AT was workin up for bimmerfest. long did an awesome job on the drop and STs r workin great. firm ride and not a lot of bounce. feels like i'm stuck to the ground much better.

I am still trying to decide between these, and the KWs. I am in Maryland where it does snow a lot some years, and some years not at all.
